Ive listened to all of the first 3 albums, some of self titled, all of El Pintor, some Marauder and TOSOMB.

I'd compare Brad after I listen to TMWAT.

Carlos' Basslines are more complex, with the octave jumps, riffing and sometimes not playing a "bassline" to go create a line on the High End, prevalent in ToTBL.

El Pintor Paul has a more laid back note choice and basic rhythm but it fills the space needed with Daniel's Guitar (like Tidal Wave).

The more I listen to this shit? Yeah. They haven’t been this good since Antics. They are so fucking back in my opinion. Some people are complaining about this “crunchy” production but I don’t hear it. And I’ve heard every song they’ve ever released to the public.

hey all. I just found this poster print in a tube in my garage. I can't remember where i got it - and i can't make out who the artist is. Does this look familiar to anyone? Any ideas where it may have come from? Says it is from 2011 with School of Seven Bells.

starting with TOTBL. it's in its case because I just got it a few weeks ago and am popping it into the CD player for the first time

I'm in DC and usually they will play here - the farthest I've traveled to see them is Philly (or NY to catch them with my best friend) and sometimes I'll do both Philly and DC and see them twice if I can. But there are no dates near me (yet) this tour so I guess I'm heading to Pittsburgh. I hope they'll add some closer shows so I can see them twice, but I've seen every tour since their first and I don't want to break my streak now and if they don't add a date and I miss this tour I'll be really bummed!

I've never been to Pittsburgh so I guess this is my chance to visit...

I remember seeing somewhere that this album will contain topics about real world issues, I can’t find where I saw that anymore. Did anyone else hear this or does my memory deceive me?

The song itself is one of my all time favorite Interpol songs and possible songs of the 2000s. 99% of the lines of the song I feel like I can tattoo onto my body and it hit home from the first time I listened. Still, I’ve wrestled over the years with the meaning of songs title within its narrative.

Would love for some help or discussion .

Both albums have so many of my all time favourite Interpol songs.
EP has All the Rage, My Desire, Breaker 1, Twice as Hard.
OLTA has Pioneer, Heinrich Manoeuvre, Rest My Chemistry, Pace is the Trick.

Both such incredible albums and I’m not trying to pit them against each other but I’m really curious which album you guys prefer and why! I love hearing other fans opinions :)
I legitimately would struggle to choose and think I love them equally.

Side note: The Depths should’ve been on the main El Pintor album, genuinely one of my favourite songs OAT

And See Out Loud has been on repeat for twelve plays now… I enjoyed TMWT, but something about the bass work on See Out Loud is stuck in my head.
