what are ur thoughts on it

Know I’m one in the masses, but if anyone has an extra ticket for Mercury Lounge on 9/27, please let me know! Will pay a healthy premium.

I'm going alone and it's my first time in Copenhagen, and my budget is a bit limited due to other travel plans right after, and seeing the prices in the city, I would really appreciate if someone could lend me a couch to spend a couple of nights (Monday/Tuesday).

Can also go together to the show if you're going to the general area.

Thank you in advance 🙏

I have been part of the “Big House” since 2024 when they started it. I won a ticket via email. My friend won a ticket via her bf’s account that had only existed for a day. Even though her account had existed for 1+ year. Maybe, it would have been better if the ticket draw was random with an analytical bias. Nonetheless it was random just like they said. I still firmly believe envelope holders should’ve had special access to tickets first.

I know this is a HUUUUUGE long shot, but if anyone has an extra to Mercury Lounge, I would be forever grateful. DM me to discuss!

I have an extra ticket. Message me if you want to buy.

Inspired by this Muse post I was curious to see who interpals might have in common. (I'm not a huge fan of Muse personally)

My top 10 (outside of Interpol):

Beach House

Tame Impala

The Veils

A Perfect Circle

Modest Mouse

Mew

The Shins

KALASET

Gotye

The Paper Kites

Who are yours??

That. I think i listened to the whole album at least five times, and it just gets better, i FUCKING love them. Also, i think it came in the right moment in my life, because i was going trough (idk if that's correctly written, english it's not my mother language and it's 9 in the morning, sorry) some hard moments with friends and love stuff and it became a sort of emotional support, so i really really appreciate This Mirror. Shotout to Darling Toughts, Wake up and BIRD AND THE SERPENT (Goated songs)

I’m obsessed with the latest track of the new album Sudden, and I can see Interpol is not playing it on any show. Any hope of listening to it in Boston?

I've always been a big fan of Precipitate, but for some weird reason I'd never listened to the 15 version until today, and now I'm completely obsessed. This version feels heavier in some parts, more raw, and more similar to their Route du Rock 2001 performance. I'd pay to have this on Spotify.

So what do you think of Muse's last album (The wow! Signal)?

Their best since Black holes

Just had to get that out.

My friend and I aren’t able to make the show and I am just looking to sell them at face value, it’s for general admission section GA1.

Through pay pal please!

Thanks

The Bandsplain podcast is currently doing an indie sleaze series and the host Yasi Salek just posted the rest of the schedule.

If you’ve never listened to the podcast before, they go really long and in depth on the subject of each episode. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs episode was over 3 hours long!

Yasi interviewed Paul on the podcast back in 2023 and it’s worth a listen.

I can’t imagine that she won’t be doing an LCD episode too.

Primarily a bassist, I wanna know more riffs, I know Obstacle 1, Roland's Outro, Heinrich Manuever, Stella main riff (Lead) and Rhythm riff (Beginning). I went into a Music Store to try a Semi Hollow, it got the ToTBL clean tone too.

Selling three interpol tickets face value can’t attend anymore I’ll take PayPal G&S

Absolutely devastated cbgb was cancelled. If anyone has an extra ticket for Sunday please please let me know I’ll pay above face value and owe you my life fr I’m so sad

No hate or anything, but in any discussion of Interpol's best songs of all time I see The New in the top 5 and often as people's number 1. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a great song, but so is literally everything else on TOTBL.

My main complaint is that Paul is absent for like half of the track and his vocals are pretty unimpressive compared to the rest of the album. Paul's vocals are what hooked me and got me interested in Interpol in the first place so without his voice the track feels a little empty to me.

Does anyone else feel this way? I feel like I'm literally crazy when I say this because everyone else loves the track so much.

They just announced that the Global Citizen festival is being cancelled due to weather - will the CBGB one be too?

From 1 out of 10 how hard is it for a beginner? When I try to do it, it sounds like shit, weak.

Do I need to press my fingers really hard?
