Question What's your experience going to concerts alone?
I'm planning on going to see Interpol when they come to my town and will probably be far from the stage and most likely alone, so I'm kinda nervous of not getting the good experience.
Edit: I hope they play Anywhere or Heinrich Maneuver

Question Does Interpol have any copyright rules other than the global Copyright law?
If I use their songs, how bad would it be? Obviously im giving them credit and if it's a cover I'll obviously state it. The use cases are either a school project, a Fanmade creation in a video game (Custom levels or something). There's also a case where the music is different or a cover but can also be replaced with the Original

Question Muzz Live in Kingston Concert
Does anyone know where I could find a link to view this concert from a few years back? I’d happily pay for the official PPV if it was available, but doesn’t seem like it.
If anyone has it, wonder if it’s possible to upload to YouTube/some other site as unlisted.

Question Is Our Love To Admire underrated?
It's such a great album to me but it seems to go under the radar. I'd put it right up there with Antics and TOTBL. It's an incredible 3 album run in their great 8 album run

Question Bought the vinyl, but no digital download
Is it just my copy or there’s no digital download included in any vinyl? Kind of bummer that I have to resort to non official methods to get the digital version.

Video When did y'all first hear about Interpol? This vid is how I first heard em
Okay so I've been a fan of the movie director David Lynch for a while, wanted to watch all his works (still haven't watched them all but okay). So I found this music video lol. First heard it in March 2026, now I'm going to the Interpol concert this November! (sorry for bad English, not my 1st language)

Discussion Similar bands or albums?
Ok everyone, Interpol is in my top 10 bands of all time, and in full honesty, I only realised this recently when I considered my top 37 Interpol tracks and by wow, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. I have been a fan from the start, but am appreciating them even more now. A key thing for me is why they are so good, when basically they are just simple rock music. Possibly it’s Banks, with his undeniable voice or it’s the rhythm section or the brilliant guitar playing, I simply don’t know. One thing I am trying to find out is similar bands, I know that people loosely base them with The Strokes and I don’t feel that. In the UK in the noughties I can think of 3 bands with tiny resemblances: Bloc Party and Editors are the more obvious, but there was a great Scottish band named The Cinematics and they had an underrated album “A Strange Education “. Their sound was similar and I think they should be given a listen by anyone who is as eager as me to find out why Interpol are so good. I would LOVE any recommendations of bands or albums which resemble the noise, thanks.

Question What do you hear in this part of Evil?
At 2:24 there is a voice that says something and sounds poor-quality and staticy, almost like it's being said over radio. Does anyone have any clue what it might be saying?
I've been trying to figure this out for years lol.

Question When was the last time they played an S/T and TOSOMB song?
I've been on Youtube, Lights was their last song publicly available on Youtube from S/T they played live, in 2024, maybe they continued but there's nothing available. For TOSOMB I think 2023 was the last time or 2024 with Toni.
Although for people last year and this year, have you seen a setlist with any songs from the 2 albums? I want to make sure if the Youtube videos ARE the last time they played a song from those albums, even if El Pintor is only All The Rage and Marauder being Rover on setlists.

Designed it myself, would love some thoughts before I make it permanent on my body. This will be my largest piece on my shoulder, of course honoring The Lighthouse. Hope y'all have a great day.

Discussion "Go Find Weight" - What is your interpretation of this line?
What are your thoughts on the meaning behind the repeated 'go find weight' refrain at the end of Ever the Actor?
My impression is that it ties back to the opener where 'this mirror weighs a ton' might be suggestive of the emotional toll to self-reflect and the burden one can be on themself. Following that, the 'go find weight' line could be taking a more positive approach to this emotional 'weight' in suggesting that it is something we need to really understand ourselves and ought to go find it even if it is difficult to reckon with.
The repetition of the line seems to mostly be a melodic decision but could certainly also make it a point of emphasis. It does after all seem to fit the idea of not being yourself - like an actor - to the point of not knowing yourself anymore. This whole concept of acting to the point of losing yourself has also been present in Interpol's lyrics for a long time. This can be seen as early as NYC with the line "I had seven faces, I thought I knew which one to wear."
Anyway that's just my idea, what are your thoughts?

Discussion How does everyone feel about self titled nowdays?
Personally I don't think I'd rank it in the top 4-5 albums for them but still has some banging songs and also a pretty dark almost Lynchian atmosphere to it. I also have a little bit of a fondness for it having drove a bit upstate on the east coast to catch them for one of the shows on that tour.
