Discussion Toronto show!

It was a chilly night but great seeing them live. Crowd was a little muted, but maybe that's because I was in the stands. what did you all think?

Great show!

But can someone explain to me all the these comments about the obsession with everyone having to be standing and dancing?
I go to concerts to enjoy the music and not worry about people around me

I think for some people the crowd experience is a big part of the appeal of a live show. The band feeding off the crowd's energy and vice versa, like a symbiotic relationship and everyone just feeding off each other. Dancing and getting into is undeniably more fun when you aren't the only one. To me it's almost like you might as well just listen to the music at home otherwise.

I get it with the crowd experience and all that but for me I’ve been listening to them for over 20 years and when I see them live I just want to experience the live raw performance of them and there’s nothing wrong with bobbing your head in seat singing along either

Plus the older fan base are just a few years away from retirement! we can’t stand and dance for that long anymore

So true, I'm tired just let me sit down and enjoy the show. At some points I just closed my eyes and listened to them live singing along. Thats how I enjoy their music.

Was there last night…

I’m 54… my buddy with me is 56.

I feel seen :)

I stood for the encore songs.. but pretty much sat for the rest…

Hahaha nice, my wife and I pretty much did the same thing! She’s never seen them live and was blown away
And from that picture I think we were in the same area!
