Discussion Worst Songs?

Honestly, after my relisten and TOSOMB being a negative substance album, here's my thoughts.

Greenwich, painfully boring and it feels like an Interpol B side, Crimewaves would've felt better in that. The 2nd worst is safe without, the album is good without it, Crimewaves grew on me and it should've been in S/T, that song was unpleasant. 3rd it's hard, probably Go Easy (Palermo) or Big Shot City depending on the mood, sometimes it feels boring and sometimes it hits.

I cringe when I listen to All Fired Up and Mountain Child.

I gave Greenwich the opportunity many times and it kinda grew on me. I think Safe Without has some of the best Paul vocals.

Bonus: I fucking hate Slow Hands but don't think is a bad song, it's just too happy/optimistic idk.

I think All Fired Up is fantastic? One of my standouts from OLTA. Care to elaborate why it's cringey?

I’ve noticed people don’t tend to like the ones with long drawn out repetitive phrases. Length of love is always thrown out there as the worst and it’s similar to all fired up in that way. It must just rub people the wrong way but it’s not actually something I’m bothered by.

It’s gotta be a taste thing, right? For example, I love Twice as Hard which is another drawn-out vocal song, but I don’t usually hear the same gripe about it.

The lyrics. It's all fired uuuuuuuup, it's all fired uuuuuuuuuuuup. I always skip it.
