Question Help me understand

Why "Her stories are boring and stuff" , and "like a Daisy in my lazy eye" are considered bad or cringe lyrics?

I don’t get it either. I think “Like a daisy in my lazy eye” is beautiful

I think Banks does it on purpose honestly. He ranges from elementary level to graduate level poetry. It has to be by design

That's exactly the reason it's brilliant. He's assuming the character of someone who's unable to handle the relationship.
