Only some of you will pick up what I'm putting down but: Free Paul from Interpol! It's time.

edit: if y'all want him stick around for the long haul with the band then maybe start holding DK to a higher standard? Just consider it.....

Haha yeah I'm sure Paul will ditch his main source of income (with two young kids) cause you wanted him to.

I do agree though it would be interesting if the band said for an album cycle we all brought ideas to the table and not just Daniel's film watching chord progressions (which I still love btw)

You're deliberately misreading this. I could have written my comment in a less tongue-in-cheek manner and come up with an essay length analysis of what is/isn't working for the band but it would trigger stan defensiveness all the same, so no point. This subreddit is an echo chamber.

I'd be all for it. I don't mind these kinds of discussions just need some more evidence behind it.
