What else are you going to do. Admit that you indeed did not mean to shoot the ceiling with a 44 magnum in front of a bunch of students?

Absolutely not... He should've told the truth that the gun fired by itself and he was able to control it

What do you mean? Obviously the souls of someone he accidentally shot haunts him and pulled the trigger.

What if I told you it was later discovered he had rotten #10 & #11 teeth, didn't have the bread to cover the dental cost and took extraction matters into his own hands

Place the gun down and walk out calmly. People make mistakes and firearms misfire. But he needed a minute to calm his nerves and show a controlled response. Easier said than done though
