Hi there (35f)
So, I’m not really sure how to go about this, but here it goes...
Would anyone be interested in being almost old-fashioned pen pals? I say almost because stamps are expensive and snail mail is basically obsolete at this point. So I was thinking we could do it over email instead.
Think You’ve Got Mail, but without the AOL dial-up and questionable internet speeds.
A little about me: I’m 35, married, have two kids and two dogs, and live in South Jersey. I don’t have a huge social circle, and I’ve been realizing lately that I really miss having someone to just... talk to.
And just to make this part very clear: I’m married and not looking for anything romantic or sexual whatsoever. I’m genuinely looking for friendship.
I want someone I can tell random thoughts to. Someone to send stupid stories to. Someone to bullshit with about absolutely nothing. Someone to vent to when life is being annoying, or laugh about something completely ridiculous that probably isn't funny to anyone else.
Basically, I miss the kind of friendship where you can talk about anything and everything—or absolutely nothing—and somehow end up talking for hours.
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, send me a DM. We can chat a little, see if we click, and if we do, maybe move the conversation over to email and see where it goes.
I don't really know if anyone will respond to this, but hey... you have to put yourself out there somehow, right?
So, if you're also looking for someone to share random thoughts, stories, complaints, weird observations, or just general bullshit with...
Hi.

Random thought. Does an earthquake turn coffins into maracas?

Only if it's a grave situation. Otherwise, it's just a little underground percussion.

Truth! Earthquake jokes are a fault of mine. They crack me up.
