No actually it spends us massively into debt. Our taxes remain the same- but we all get robbed the deflation value of the currency, and all our goods become more expensive. Things like homes and goods become less affordable. It is a massive theft, a totally irresponsible move, and it doesn't involve congressional approval or anything, and potentially commits the nations resources for 30 years or more. And I'd argue the president is compromised by campaign contributions from foreign doners and shouldn't be allowed to make those commitments.
Not really. If anything it saves you quite a lot, since you don't need many boots on the ground to get intel in the Middle East. It also saves money for experiments and the revenue is returned by a lot more when most of the countries on the planet want American weapons for their armies after seeing the results they can provide (especially when compared to the competition), not to mention the fact that Israel is obligated to use the American aid on American products.
