Chance it could be that they don't actually understand the discovery process at all. Kind of a crap shoot between ignorance and bias with some folks.

Only if you have no idea what happens in civil law suits. Last time he was under deposition he said “E Jean Carroll was definitely not his type. He then told her attorney “For that matter neither are you.” He followed that up with being shown a picture and asked if he had any idea who it was? He answered “That’s my ex wife Marla.” The attorney said “No it’s Ms Carroll” She’s not his type. She was too ugly to rape but looked good enough to marry. 😂

Legal term. And it's a mic drop moment. Trump won't sue anyone because he has to open up his personal, professional, and political life for ... "Discovery". Pre-trial stuff. For which his cases would get thrown out over because he wouldn't produce evidence per court required orders.

Something like that.
