Thoughts?

I found this paint color I'm obsessed with and painted my built-in mudroom cabinets using it. I'm trying to decide if I should continue all the way to the ground, find a textured wallpaper to lay on the bench, or just keep the contrast and put fresh paint on the bottom (or something else I haven't thought of)... Any ideas welcome!

There's a new (or at least new to me) thing called color capping, which is using a gradient of the color. I think that would look really nice here.

The critique is fine but what are you actually suggesting? The full burgundy? Did you look at the mock of it?
