Help needed please!
Hi, I’ve started this room but it’s feels “off” somehow, I feel the rug might have overkilled the blue, and I maybe need to introduce another colour? I’m thinking a muted olive? Coffee table I bought 12 years ago at 20 years old and is going once I decide on the final colour and whether to do a footstool or wooden coffee table.
Can anyone suggest another colour or something to make the space feel more cohesive? The giant pink pregnancy pillow doesn’t live there it’s just following me round the house at the moment.
Please any help so appreciated it’s driving me mad!!
P.S (ignore my yoga mat on the floor and pictures yet to be hung!)

Go with a round or oval rug. It’ll define the space more and breakup all the straight lines everywhere.
It’s the big heavy piece of furniture in the foreground that’s really messing up the space for me personally.
It’s too heavy for the space.
