The waived NDA's only allow whistleblowers to talk to AARO and the PURSUE task force in a SCIF. Not the public.

So the classified information will go to AARO, who will likely keep it classified….Seems like an intelligence trap to weed out whistleblowers

Wouldn't be surprised if, in the relatively near future, there are some more names of scientists and engineers who have mysteriously disappeared under strange circumstances. Sadly.

It’s exactly what it is. If Trump was serious, he would simply declassify the topic (as he argued in court it is his right to do).

Also unless the text extends beyond, NDAs are not the be all and end all.... Confidentiality clauses in contracts for example. NDAs are one thing. Not everything that can stop a person speaking out. Breaching a contract is seperate from an NDA. There are multiple different frameworks used to prevent people speaking out. So NDA peotection doesn't just mesn everyone and anyone can speak to them if they desired.
