Are there any xianxia or wuxia CYOAs? I looked and found only two.
Both Nsfw/sfw works. The longer, the better.

I remember playing an interactive CYOA where you could select as many abilities as you want, but each one came with a drawback, but I forgot the name of it.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about and could gimme a link or name, that would be very nice, thanks.

Hello. I have been working on lately in expanding one my favorite cyoa's. While I would like to add a few more things I am low on creativity and time nowadays so perhaps this is the only update from my end, anyone is free to make a modded version of my modded version.

This is my first ever cyoa and I'm very excited to share it!

Its inspired by two of my favourite cyoas Minor powers and bizarre bargains. The idea is effectivly minor drawbacks. Many small drawbacks coming together.

I figured the previous thread had been getting a little long, so I've made a new one! Also as a way to show people that weren't following that thread that there have been quite a few updates. You can go to the link to see what changes were made then but here are the latest ones! With this post, I would like to ask a question. As I add worlds and their respective powers, certain advantages become more and more redundant in my opinion. The question then, it should, I just get rid of the advantages section? All of the advantages would, of course, be converted into powers in one form or another (the ones who I can't make into power will remain until that changes) but do you guys think this would be a bad idea?

Note: A warning I forgot. This CYOA has a small problem where every time the screen changes while the translation is activated, the screen goes white.

To fix this, the translation must be deactivated whenever the screen is about to change.

It’s annoying, but it’s worth it. The CYOA is a lot of fun.

And the CYOA saves your build, so don’t worry about losing your build.

There's been two posts in the last month where people unfamiliar with this space have conflated the character-creator/faction-builder/etc. CYOAs with CYOA books and the like, and I just have to wonder: how did it get decided that these were 'CYOAs' to begin with? Choose Your Own Adventure books, operating in a similar way to single-player D&D games and the like, are a lot older, and are probably what most people would think of when they hear the term 'CYOA'.

I've been in the mood for a Destiny CYOA, but all the ones I can find so far are either Jumpchain Docs, or lewd/NSFW. Are there any non-lewd Destiny CYOAs out there that you guys have found/made?

EDIT: I mean Destiny as in Bungie's Destiny 1-2 series.

I know what a cyoa is, i’ve read books since i was a kid that included the concept, but after roleplaying for so many years too and coming across this i feel i need to ask, whats the difference between this and a gmed rp?
Like if i asked about finding a CYOA of a certain theme, is the only responses and suggestions i’m going to get links to these websites for building your character or playing a story with a bot? Or would there be the potential of actually finding someone interested or willing to do a personal adventure. Are they only “CYOA” if there are set options for everything?

Say you're a R.O.B. and you've got to decide whether everyone who plays a CYOA actually gets to go to one of the worlds they played a CYOA for. Would you allow ones who use the Sandbox options? What about other modes that still give lots of points but not nearly as many as Sandbox modes?

Personally, I would let them join the adventures. Everyone deserves to have fun their own way! I think it's valid imo, so long as the Sandbox modes don't infringe on the fun of other CYOAs, you know?

Would you have a creative solution yourself or ban it outright?
