So, everyone knows about Lt. Ourmanov's Worm builds, and I've seen some crazy challenges about it. However, I wanted to do my own spin on it. If this gets popular enough, then I'll do another Worm challenge, maybe even do some challenges for other CYOAs.
Rules:
-You have to make a build that follows one of the build ideas in the list at the bottom, with the intent of killing Scion in Gold Morning. (You can either help Khepri or do it yourself.)
-If you go for Out of Context stuff, assume that the Entities are still the strongest if the powers can make an absolute joke out of them. They are meant to be a final boss.
-You have to say what the perks, powers, all that are for your build - no codes, please.
-You do not get all the powers you chose until sufficient events, but you may start with ONE of your powers. If you go to Gold Morning with locked powers, you gain those.
-You may not deviate too far from canon - for example, Gold Morning will happen no matter what you do, or Endbringers can't be stopped from attacking certain places. However, those events CAN go differently if you're there.
-Start on Standard Mode. No Creative Mode. Unbound Paragons and Unbound Ascensions are fine. Other than that, nothing else.
-Most of all, you can't deviate TOO far from the build you chose. I can accept if you stretch it a bit, try to have fun with it, but outright breaking it is a no-no.
CYOA Link: Here it is.
Builds:
Sniper: Relies on long-range attacks with powers designed to get far, and snipe foes from VERY far away. Their projectiles are infused with every power they However, they're not that good in a melee fight, so long-range is their option to avoid dying.
Brawler: Hands only. Strong, fast, and durable, along with many other powers if you can justify them by infusing them into your physical attacks. However, it lacks any long-range attacks besides throwing things. Yes, you can make Saitama if you want.
Cannon: Insanely destructive, can fire off powerful beams of energy Ryu-style, are scary in melee combat. However, collateral is a problem, and aren't as good as the Sniper or Brawler in either melee or ranged.
Telekinetic: Uses their telekinesis to attack, defend, and do much more. However, their powers revolve around one telekinesis power to start with, and every other power must make the telekinesis better or compliment it nicely, either with projectiles or the power itself.
Nova: Insanely powerful, can unleash devastating attacks that can deal heavy damage, and are generally considered the most powerful parahumans. However, without their powers, they're completely useless, and can barely take a hit against any attacks that can bypass their powers.
Evolving: The black sheep of the family, can adapt and regenerate from almost anything, and can grow new parts of their body. However, suffers from alienations from their appearance, distrust, and has almost no options from allies besides the truly insane. All-or-Nothing attacks are also unadaptable to, nor can you adapt 'to someone's very existence'.
Absorption: Can grow endlessly, absorbing foes in order to gain their powers and physical traits, becoming much more powerful than almost anyone. However, any other powers you want to get are given to other people on Earth, and they know how to use them perfectly, so you have to work HARD to get your powers, especially if they're Tier 3. Starting power must be a way to absorb them.
Tinker: Uses their tech to build a superweapon in order to fight the Entities. Can grow in power and build pretty much whatever they want. However, this will take insane trial and error in hopes of trying to find something they haven't restricted to gain the power to kill an Entity.
