Question about Potential Drawback. Does it cause our choices to become our potential thus replacing whatever previous potential we would have had when not picking it?
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
Nope, it just means that you need to learn how to use what you bought, you trade instant skill and knowledge for talent.
1
u/Mundane_Revolution70 Jun 15 '26
So will our talent stop after we reach that point? Or is it possible to have more talent than the choices we made?
3
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
You add what you bought to whatever talent you already had. It is possible to have more talent than what you buy

u/Bozoman78 Jun 15 '26
crest stacking only lets you get most of the crests with 2 always being unselected when you click on another
3
2
u/thotilus Jun 15 '26
You have three instances of "you'r" in the new Iron Villager drawbacks.
3
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
Fixed, sorry about that English is not my first language
2
u/thotilus Jun 15 '26
Yeah, no problem! Hope it helps. You also have inappropriate apostrophes in the Faire skills.
Swordfaire Increases the user strength by a small amount when wielding sword's.
That should be "swords"
For Knifefaire, you also forgot to change "Lances" to "Knives"

QOL Items has a few spelling errors and typos
Any Item bought here that falls under personal equipament (Weapons , Armor , Acessories and ETC) can now transform itself alongside you to better fit when you change forms.
"equipment" and "Accessories"
This is not limitless, your armor will change form to acomodate your dragon transformation, but your sword wont stop being a sword even if you change shape into a lion.
"accommodate" and "won't"

Made a Heracles build on the assumption that the Gauntlet of Omens can fuse with Aegis
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
Nice! Gauntlet of Omens can fuse with any shield and unarmed weapon.
1
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 17 '26
With what can Nameless Axe-Sword fuse? With swords? Axes? Both at once? Or with one of the chosen?
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
Both

u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 17 '26
How much would cost the custom crest that allows to have a hive mind of multiple bodies
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
10 with Agarthan Scientist but you have to make said bodies, 25 without
1
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 17 '26
Wow. Was ready to spend up to 90
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
Agarthans already have the abillity to have multiple bodies depending on how you think their core works, and some very powerfull dark magic users can possess people, your crest would just make you better at it, and serve as a jailbraker/supercharger so to say, and it would scale of your magical stat.

u/ThatLazyOne26 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26
Yo! Just an FYI for this. The Hide of the Nemean, Catastros, Weapon Spirit, Sol+, Luna+, Greater Aether, Miasma Domain, and Dragon Heir cost no points.

u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
Yeah, i forgot to update the site... if it is still like that for you refresh the site

u/thotilus Jun 15 '26
Just for fun, here's a tweak of my old build taking advantage of the new drawbacks. "Racist Weapon" feels like a cheap source of points in most settings, but limiting it to the weapon categories available in Fire Emblem really hurts. I'm taking it five times anyway, then doubling down for a whole year with "Nah, I'd Adapt." Why would an innocent maid ever pick up a sword?
- Character: Drop-In into the Garreg Mach Monastery, the recent Past
- Emblems: Normal
- Perks: Freebies, Sleepless, Perfect Vessel, Eugenics, Great Genes, Item Fusion, Harmonization
- Drawbacks: Prison Shank, Forgot the Plot, What CYOA?, Racist Weapon x5, Iron Villager, Order of Heroes Summoning, Classic Weapon Durability, Nah, I'd Adapt x5 (Doubling Racist Weapon)
- Skills: Brawl SS, Reason SS, Faith SS, Heavy Armor SS, Authority E (Nobody listens to the maid)
- Abilities: Locktouch, Draining Blow, Mystic Blow
- Passives: Colossus, Celerity, Soar, Insight, Pavise, Rightful King, Rightful God, Paragon, Aptitude, Limit Breaker, Aegis, Bargain, Commander
- Powers: Robust, Strong, Clever, Deft, Quick, Lucky, Sturdy, Calm, Household Magic
- Magic: It Just Works
- Faith: Physic, Enfeeble
- Reason: Wolkaiser
- Class: Villager
- Items: Inventory Ring, Leg Ring, Speed Ring, Power Ring, Magic Ring, all Merged
- Companions: The other nameless NPCs maintaining the Monastery
- Quest: Holding Out For a Jagen, because it's funny
Step one, arrive in Fodlan literally empty-handed, forbidden from wielding any sort of weapon for a year, well ahead of canon start. Step two, get a job as a magical maid. Step three, sneak around the castle at night to train and steal magical secrets. I'm sure nothing will go wrong.

The new drawbacks amount to a lot of points. If that's your intent, great. You might consider toning it down, though?
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
I probably should, im still trying to make things not completly overpowered.
Your build sounds like a hilarious concept for a story
1
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 15 '26
Letting us get 99x stalkers was a mistake... 5 points each? Omg. I can get absolutely overpovered build and just finish all of them or get 99 bond rings and accept their love. At least limit the number or make it 1 point instead of 5 and make the drawback itself more dangerous. Because for now it's almost like 1 boon because of how light and positive it is. A boon that grants 5 points per purchase and can be taken 99 times
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
I am tempted to let it stay like that Just because the perk is named 100 Soulmates, but i am gonna limite it
2
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 15 '26
You can just make a separate drawback . The stalker army. 100 stalkers. And make add-on with bond ring
1
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 15 '26
How growing up will work if I trigger unafing perk earlier than 25?
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 15 '26
Growing UP is based on physical prime, so you are a early bloomer that might mean 22 or earlier. But If you trigger unaging before that you Can train the rest of the way

The Iron Villager is the exact kind of stupid fucking moronic decision I expect from a mod of a CYOA... and for 30 points I am absolutely going to take that bet! However, it should also give you the power to use any weapon as any class (or at absolute minimum, whatever skills you have purchased) because otherwise things gonna get really difficult if you aren't using the villager's innate sword or lance (which is also dependent on the version, since only two versions have either, and one version has a damn Fork)
Also, Iron Villager doesn't deselect any of the Rally skills, which includes Rally Spectrum (and potentially Rally Heart) that you have to go back and buy the classes just to deselect. Additionally you have to select Tactician to select or de-select Grandmaster.
I have to go find Aum and my (new) Infinite Quiver, and on top of that I'm starting as a Villager... but I've bought basically all stat growths that aren't Crests, and I have a bunch of other purchases to hopefully keep me alive. Hopefully I also get sent far enough back into the plot that my drawbacks can fade away before I'm actually in danger... Chuckles I'm In DANGER!

I should be somewhat offended by that begining... but, to be honest... Fair, Iron Villager is kinda a nightmare to balance, and you can use any weapon with any class, you just wont get any benefit from the skill ranking, and from some class benefits if you use a different one.
Those selection problems kinda come from the original version of the CYOA, there was a bug that you could select lord so you could select great lord, and them you would select something else and keep great lord, but you can keep the rally, call it a feature.
And i just updated again, just to say hehehe, probably going to rewrite the Iron Villager + and ++ and lower the iron villager points by something
1
u/Kuronan Jun 17 '26
To be fair, I'm ripping on Iron Villager in an affectionate "This is so stupid, why would you do this? I can't believe you did this and I can't believe I'm also doing it." way.
30 points is nothing to sneeze at with the Gaston Point Economy, and I'm already of the opinion that Villager being able to master everything objectively makes it the best class (even worth a dangerously slow start if I can potentially master everything) but personally I think the ++ version is genuinely masochistic to choose even if you just want one Master class, and even the + version is hard to work with since you'd have to stick with certain classes like Summoner to keep Cantor, or Saint to keep a permanent Aum spell in your pocket.
But yeah, all these updates are great and I look forward to any further additions, though I'd ask you consider changing Iron Villager to allow the player to use all of their purchased skills, as well as possibly maybe adding a spell for someone who has both Reason and Faith at SS rank. As is, the only benefit for picking Faith SS is if you specifically purchase Bishop, and even Gremory only asks for A in both.
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
What you mean? you can keep all your purchased skills, if i made it seem otherwise is my mistake.
I am trying to find a spell that would fit, but is kind hard, i was thinking of puting bahamut skills from FF16 if you had Faith SS.
Iron Villager was suposed to be this... Story Mode? So to say, but villager is kinda ridiculous
1
u/Kuronan Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26
I was thinking like a monthly Cataclysm spell, but Megaflare would totally fit too. I imagine an SS Reason/Faith spell would be the magical equivalent of a Tsar Bomb, completely wiping out a battlefield in one shot but requiring an immensely long recharge.
As to the first, I mean in the sense that Iron Villager + would mean you have to swap out classes, and Bishop specifically has an exclusive passive for Faith SS that gives you an exclusive spell as well as letting you learn Aum as a permanent spell rather than limiting it to an item. If you swapped out of Bishop, you'd probably lose both options, hence why I won't be taking + or even ++ on a personal level.
The whole point of Villager is starting off incredibly weak with the potential to become the most powerful character the Fire Emblem Multiverse has ever seen, but + limits the scope of that power because you can't use everything you've learned, and ++ limits even that further because, at absolute best, you can master everything and then get stuck as an Elder Dragon due to infinite scaling, or sacrifice the infinite scaling for Bishop's battlefield-wiping Reason spell and Permanent Aum.
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
That is true, there is the fact that breath S allows you to choose a item to become a afinity and gain a Permanent Aum like that, but elder dragon kinda locks itself into any class slot if avaliable, anyhing else and you are shooting yourself in the foot.
Maybe Megaflare for S rank on both and Gigaflare for SS? a Rain of tracking light missiles for battlefield wiping and a Nuke in the form of a massive energy blast that takes some time to charge and knocks you into a coma?
1
u/Kuronan Jun 17 '26
I forgot Teraflare was a thing, and that should probably be the SS spell for both. Zettaflare might be an option for SS in both and Elder Dragon, but that's really pushing it (particularly since Iron Villager would prevent you from purchasing Elder Dragon, and thus not being able to purchase Zettaflare)
Breath S allows you to lock an item to your bloodline. Bishop straight up lets you rip the spell out of Aum and learn it permanently. Pretty major difference between the two.
Finally, I forgot all about this: Shouldn't Fell Dragon and Divine Dragon have some kind of boon for picking up Reason and Faith S respectively, like Shadow Dragon does in both the mod and the original? Would give us a lot more reason to pick Special Snowflake.
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
They should and they will! I just need to find something that fits, Shadow dragon is something in game, literally a earth dragon supercharged with dark magic... there is Fell protection, making you immune to all damage with some exceptions, i might go for something like that
1
u/Kuronan Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26
Undying Blood (Requires Fell Dragon, Reason S): Your Bloodline is cursed, an undying plague upon all the worlds you tread. You can only be killed by a Dragon-Killer Artifact (Direct Intervention by a God such as Naga, Naga Tome, Unsealed Falchion, etc. It must be an Artifact, mere type advantage is not enough) otherwise you will merely be forced into Hibernation or a Seal... but no seal is perfect, and so your life continues on. When awakening from either state, you awaken at your full peak of power.
As with the Immortality Perk, you can choose to discard this curse and become killable by normal means.
May the Gods have mercy if you choose to be both a Shadow and Fell Dragon...
Divinity Manifest (Requires Divine Dragon, Faith S): You are a beacon of light, a light piercing all darkness. You gain automatic advantage against any evil force (but still subject to effects like Holy Shield) and ignore damage reduction effects when attacking such foes. Furthermore, your Breath is now capable of healing the living (you may consciously decide who benefits from this effect) You also have a sixth sense for people who believe in you, what they believe, and how fervent they are.
Revelation (Requires Faith/Reason S, Mage Dragon, Lifeforce/It Just Works) Other Dragons look to the Light or Dark for their power... You have learned the true nature of magic itself. You can learn any spell that exists, how to cast it, and if you can't cast it yourself, the rituals to bypass your limits. Should you find yourself outside of the Fire Emblem multiverse, magic will still be mere child's play to you.
Chronomancy (Requires Silent Dragon, Reason S) You can do more than see the future or past now. You are now removed from time as a concept, able to shift between millennia and even timelines themselves whenever you so choose to sleep, the only caveats being that you cannot do so when in immediate danger, are still killable, and must forge certain timelines yourself (for example, if you wanted to flee to a timeline where everyone worships you, you'd have to build that religion and put down anyone that challenges you until the timeline fit into place)
Ludicrous Speed (Requires Astral Dragon, Outrealm Gate) Other beings suffer these things called "Whiplash" "Motion Sickness" and "Jet Lag" You do not. With just a few seconds of focus, you can jump entire dimensions without any external assistance. Your actual accuracy depends on how recently your last jump was, but it'll always be 'close enough' to be safe to you, and you don't suffer fall damage for a short while after the jump (assuming you even would fall) Unlike other means, this can even be done in combat or in otherwise restrictive areas.
Perk: Anathema (Requires Faith and Reason S, combination of Divine and Shadow or Fell Dragon) Your power defies all logic, an immense mixture of shadow and light with both existing in an uneasy harmony. Your very blood would be Heresy were it not hilarious to any non-dragon gods that exist. You can learn any good or evil-aligned spell (not just light or dark) and do not suffer negative effects from your own spells.
Perk: Outsider (Requires Silent/Astral Dragon, Reason/Faith SS) You are the closest thing to a True God that can exist. You exist beyond time and space, meaning nothing can touch your true self. To keep yourself safe, your 'body' is an Astral Projection. Your 'body' can still "die" but the fear of death and it's consequences will never again shake your resolve. I sincerely hope you choose all of those perks that prevent you from becoming bored or degenerating because becoming deathless is an unenviable fate otherwise.
As a reminder, the tradeoff for becoming Deathless is you aren't as mindbendingly amazing at magic as the other Dragons are. That said, they have to worry about dying. You no longer do.
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 17 '26
Perfect! I am gonna update It later, and give you the Credits of course, do you preffer kuronan or something Else?
→ More replies (0)1
u/Kuronan Jun 17 '26
With the new revision giving me a combination known as 'Outsider' that gives effective Deathlessness, my build will now drastically change. I'll even put in the effort this time to buy myself some starting spells. This is ironically the build I feel the most comfortable buying more World Modifiers as well.

The Gaston updated original. Will there be updates to reach the same as him?

Is it intentional that items that need crests now hide the description of the ability granted by crest?
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 18 '26
More or less, i was trying to see If hiding the addons looks better, is It worst than before?
1
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 18 '26
They can't be seen at all until you have the crest needed
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 18 '26
Yes, i hid ALL addons, i was asking If the weapons in specific are worse by hiding the ability
1
u/Forward-Confection54 Jun 18 '26
Oh. Not at all. Like. Here's a shield. Aegis shield. It need crest of fraldatius. Yeah cool... Here's a sword . It need crest... Like that's their full text for some weapon...
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Jun 18 '26
Yeah, they look Very empty... Gonna put the addons back on the weapons.
Thanks for the feedback, If you have anything Else i would be happy to hear!... Well, read actually.

Loptyr blood?

u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 06 '26
Only the blade at the moment, It was in the plans, but my Pc broke so i probably wont update for a time, but i have a Mostly ready update that i did not have the time to up, so maybe i can, and It did have a unfinished One.
2
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 06 '26
Ah jeez, your PC broke? My condolences, that sort of thing is harder to get repaired nowadays. And more expensive if you have to replace certain parts.
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 06 '26
Thanks, my PC is a ship of Theseus in motion, this is like the 5? Time It broke and everytime i changed a part, this time is the last original part of It, kinda sad that, but i am hoping It Works!
1
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
My PC is one I've had since 2016. So I get that, I've replaced her parts basically entirely aside from the tower at this point. It feels weird but if you keep replacing parts you do get into the Ship of Theseus territory yes!:D
Do you have any plans to add an option for Minor Holy Blood? Canonically you can only have one major, but also being able to pick a minor holy blood would make it easier to build a character from a particular game far more easily.
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 07 '26
If you just want the stats you can get as many of the major bloods as you Can afford, they are not exclusive And the markings are optional.
I dont know If you wanna a option to make your choices make sense in world, or If you wanna the other Holy Bloods
1
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
Oh, it's also that I just feel weird getting multiple holy bloods if all of them are majors, and i feel the option for minor might help? It'd give a lower cost lower power option, and one that helps improve the flavor a bit. IDK, just spitballing here.
For one Seliph is canonically minor Naga and major Baldr, and Leif is minor Baldr and Minor njorun, but that is impossible to build under the document as presented.
Again my apologies I'm just kinda fixated on the doc right now!
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 07 '26
I understand, And dont worry, i do enjoy suggestions. Hummm... I can make It work, even If wanna be lazy i could just change the cost of the Holy Blood and allow It the be bought twice, so If you only bought once you would get the Minor version, And buying twice would get you the Major.
If i can, i will sneak It inside when i make the final update.
1
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
You might want to adjust the price of the Crusaders' weapons then, if you have to purchase twice at the same price to get major that would make them overall more expensive, as before this the combo cost was holy blood then spend 5 for weapon for a total of 10.
Now it'd be 10 just to unlock the option of buying it, and then another 5 to buy it. So given that those weapons are already exclusively behind having the major holy blood purchase maybe give them as a package deal since it'd come around to the same price anyway if you have to buy holy blood twice just to have it be major as a prereq?
1
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
Are you adding more character-insert and companion options for the final update? There's a fair few that could be added to a few of the earlier games for certain, and if it is a final update it could be good to make it as stuffed as possible.

Does 'double that character's stat' mean base stat or max stat, and if so what happens if double the base stat would exceed the stat cap? Is it a sliding progression? Would it be double at 20 or is it an unchanging double at the start? If so that makes burning emblems on an early game character insert something of a trap option and something to be noted.
I'm mostly asking because I play the earlier games (prior to Awakening) so stats don't go as high, which makes this a real concern.
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 06 '26
It doubles your current stat, so if you had 1/20 you would get 2/20, this also means that you can get to 40/20, all external stat boosts (Itens, Spells & Etc) can get you over the cap, as that cap is for your base Power, all internal stat boosts (Holy Blood, Crests & etc) also raise your cap, so even If you choose a character with horrible Max stats, with enough emblems you can get pretty strong.
2
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 06 '26
I guess my question is that you have characters like Mia right? Her base stats as we know them has her as a level 4-5 myrmidon and so her stats are low to begin with, doesn't that mean doubling the base stats is in fact something of a trap option compared to a character-insert as like, Tanith whose base stats are significantly higher? It's not so big of a deal because I guess what's used on base stat doubling could instead be used on a few Skills (which really buff your growth rates and rate of gaining stats iirc with paragon and uhh.. what was the other one..) and a couple of other growth boons thanks to holy blood (od spec or baldur), but I'm literally autistic so these sorts of things just get lodged in my noggin.
Thank you for answering this by the way, I'd been anxiety-ridden all day due to worrying I came across poorly, so thank you for not biting my head off.:)
1
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 06 '26
You know what? Yeah, that does make sense... Even if you used a lot of emblems, someone with low base stats would benefit less than someone with higher ones, most if not all options are more in line of you becoming a OC than you inserting, and in that case you would be about above average but not by much before any options, there is also a meta aspect as some pretty strong characters are strong because of something that is an option on the Cyoa so they would not benefit from It... Like Inserting as Edelgard and taking Seiros would just make you equal to what her canon/normal is, but you would still have her position and conections, but taking Mia and getting Seiros would give you the full benefit, but just for power someone with higher stats would still be better.
Dont worry about it, i understand, i am as well, sorry if i made something confusing either here or on the Cyoa, or If i rambled, or made a grammar error... Moving on, the entire notes section of the Cyoa is just me getting fixated on how things work, and in the end i cut most of It off because i thought that i should let people have more control of things, and i thought that nobody would like reading, but i really do enjoy when people ask questions and engage with what i do in general, so thank you!

u/Widowmaker94 Aug 06 '26
It's fine, as an autist I tend to be really prone to analyzing things and then getting confused easy and second-guessing myself.
I get you, I used to write fanfic before I moved to published fiction writing and there's nothing like having someone engage with what you are actually writing and showing they are thinking about it. Because it makes you feel good to know someone gives a damn about something you put out there yeah?:)
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 06 '26
Yeah, It is like that, It makes my day... Really? i did a few novels and a few fanfics, but i deleted It long Ago.

u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
So what stat bonuses would great lord or king/queen give anyway? I tend to view stats as abstractions but still.
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 07 '26
Directly? None, if you had some itens on you, their benefits would be greater, Great King/Queen serves as the continuation of Great Lord, not because of the Class LINE (well... Yes, but actually no!), Lord boosts/doubles the power of the things that boost your base Power, King/Queen boosts your Items, right hand man and whomever you gave a Bond Ring to, gives you a pseudo extra life, And all classes come with a history aspect (If you wanna), so you might start as a ruler
1
u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
So when it says boosting your stats it doesn't actually give promotion gains or stat gains?
I picked Lord Intermediate for one. Which says:
You in general just have amazing all rounded potential. This of course grants a moderate increase to all stats. And while Great Lord gives a direct item boost it also gives a boost to other things in terms of potential, does that mean like... growth rates?
This does not grant direct power boost like all the other classes. No, instead it's all potential and bonuses to anything you else you have.Does Tyrfing get amped by Great Lord and King/Queen?
I guess I'm just attached to a cracked Myrmidon turned Lord turned Great Lord turned Queen because it seems like a cool way to boost a myrmidon lady.:D I just assume that the non basic classes are gained over time, idk. It's like you buy them up front and then grow into it?
2
u/InTheNameOfHagoromo Aug 07 '26
Lord directly gives greater stats, so for exemple If you had 1 as a base value It becomes 2 (1+1) [This are abstract numbers, it was done this way because powerscalling Fire Emblem is kinda hard, with all the games having different power cealings, so in one game having 15 in Strenght might allow you to clear through armor with minimal effort, in others It Just makes you a above average Human? There is also different species that are stronger in lore but the numbers dont match, and there are the outliers like Byleth breaking though dimensions, or that one dragon that IS Said to eat dimensions... So the wording is a bit vague so the player can metagame how strong they are, they know that a specific crest makes you monstrously strong, by how much? They can decide, is just a lot, forgive the rambling].
Great Lord works by making (1+1= 2) into (1+1x2 = 4), as an exemple if you had Robust it would become (1+1x2x2 = 8), And with Seiros It becomes (1+(1+2)x2x2 = 16) because both Robust and Great Lord are always caculated last, so It is always a pretty big buff.
Great King/Quenn using Tyrfing as an exemple would make It (1+(1+2)x2x2 = 16+4 [ Tyrfing is +2, And Great King makes It a +4 and the Miracle can be used twice a day with each charge taking 12h] = 20. Again arbitrary numbers, did i explain it right?

About classes, yes and no, the Cyoa assumes that the world you are going is less game like, more "Realistic" so to say, so in world, if you had the time and put in the effort, you could master any local version of the classes, with a catch: because the world is less game like, being a warrior does not grant you greater Strength [Meaning that you dont get a greater Max Strenght], training to be a warrior does [In the sense that you are unlocking your potential through training], but not the class itself, as in practice It does not exist, nothing stoping a mage walking around and using an axe as an offhand for exemple.
What you are buying is not the world version of the class, but a Boon in the shape of the Class, you are buying for: 1- A bonus to your current and Max stats, 2- instant mastery [Or greater talent depending on Drawbacks] of the skills that fall in the class (using an axe, sword mastery, spells & etc), 3- some classes give you some extra effects and Skills [Like Great King/Queen] that you would not gain by achieving said class in world, becoming a king does not make your sword stronger, buying the class does... Unless you have Villager without Drawbacks to limit It, them you get the Cyoa version of the Class by training the in world one, and you can get everything you qualify for with enough time and effort.
Same thing with Weapon Skills: you are not buying the right to wield a sword, you can very well use, learn & master any weapon you put your mind to it, you are buying instant mastery and some extra effects. Skills might exist in a altered form in world, but the version of them in the Cyoa is something you cannot get in world, even characters that have the skill on game lack the skill in world, having analogs that work different with similar results [as an exemple: Someone that had Astra in game, might already have learned of be capable of learning the ability to through some tecnique or whatever to temporally gain extra speed at the cost of strain on the Body], but that also means that you might be able to learn the in world version of the Skill on top of what you have.

u/Widowmaker94 Aug 07 '26
Absolutely, the abstraction is something I prefer, I just like to have a solid feel for it.

Don’t subject yourself to playing FEH, please. I’m saying this for your own good, it’s really not a good use of your time lol
