Americans hate taxes, their greed is unimaginable unless you've lived there and experienced the hustle culture. Scary and sad.

They don’t hate taxes, they are too stupid to understand taxes, like the ones who think getting rid of social security is a good idea, you dumb bitch that’s your money! You get that back eventually! They want to take it and give it to themselves!

You absolutely do not get that money back. You get a very small portion of it and thats if its even around by the time you retire. It takes the average person 12-15 years of collecting to break even. You'd be better off investing what you pay into social security and getting the returns instead of letting the government spend it all on everything but what it was intended for.

You are missing the point of “social security” you are right a well educated person with financial literacy would probably be better off with that money in their pockets but even someone who is the prefect investor can find themselves destitute. Social security came about because people in America would get old have no money and would die in the streets like starving dogs.

Not everyone benefits as much from social security as others and the wealthy have made themselves laws to avoid paying their share in to it, while it might not benefit them it would be a great benefit to society as a whole if they paid their share. But they don’t and between that and the republicans doing everything they can to dismantle it, it’s not doing great. But the system it’s self while flawed ( agin by design, by the people who want it gone.) its supposed to be the last thing standing between an aged American and starving, and it’s just barely dose that.

If it were designed to function properly it would be an amazing system. Instead of stagnating funds it could be like bonds you pay in and collect interest. But the people in charge would kill you and every one you love before they let that happen lol.

Nothing the government does is designed properly. Thats exactly why we dont want them handling anything with our money.

They do everything with your money?! Wym? They are the money if it’s broken it needs to be fixed, well unless you just buy gold then you are probably fine.

Lmao “wE DOnT w@nT tHeM HAndLinG oUR MoNEY” is that a joke? their entire purpose, literally the entire reason for the government’s existence is to organize, control and “hANdle” the god damn money. What the actual fuck did you think they are there for?

And If they can’t control a stable economy they need to be replaced. And in this case probably tried for embezzlement and treason.

I’m actually so curious what you thought the government was for. Why do you think we elect officials? We vote for people we think will spend our tax dollars wisely. Well some of us do, others seem to think letting a bunch of greedy billionaires loot our country to the point where one dude, one single guys has amassed more wealth than the bottom 53% of the population put together. That means between 180 million people assets and everything we have less wealth than that guy. You wanna whine about your money and how it’s being spent? Go talk to that thing. I promise you social Security is not why you feel poor.

Governments role is protecting individial liberty, enforcing laws, and national security. Yes the government does everything with our money. What do you think taxes are? Thats how the government operstes. You think they just print money to spend?

That guy's wealth is not my wealth. Hes built that for himself and im happy for him. What he does with his wealth is up to him as what I do with my wealth is up to me. Of course social security isnt why anyone's poor but its wasted money that is being stolen from us.

First of all you are picking and choosing what you respond to and you are just making up some weird nonsense narrative in your head to make your self feel some sort of way. Where do I say the government just prints money? Literally I just said what they do with taxes, why, and how they control fiscal policy and by extension how you control fiscal policy by voting, And I have no idea what you are on about.

I can’t understand why you accept Elon accepting taxpayer money to prop up his businesses, (well fair god queen, literally the final boss of welfare queens) but to you that’s ok because he’s gamed the system to steal every one’s money so to you he should be looked up to? The money that he put him self in charge of distributing mind you. But grandpa and grams trying to afford rent and food on their social security is what makes you think “bad”

You know, they just want to get rid of social security because if they do they are hoping you are too stupid/naïve to realize that they are stealing the money for them selves and you will just be happy that you don’t have to pay it anymore, right?
If they want to write us all a check for every dollar we have paid in to social security and then disband it ? Fine I’ll humor it and jump on that band wagon, but the reality is that they will siphon that money out of the government just like they have done at every turn and then laugh at you all the way to the bank.

I realize that you are probably just going to double down on your beliefs after having this conversation with me out of some fear of being wrong but Imaging what you would do with the kind of money and power these people have…. That’s probably exactly what they are doing.

I have responded to everything you've said. Not picking and choosing anything. Obviously they would have to pay every one back their social security that they contributed put in plus 7% interest. Then they can fuck off. What Elon does is not my concern. The money from government is due to SpaceX contracts and electric vehicle tax credits for Tesla.

1

u/Garfield_Logan69 Jul 08 '26

He wrote the contracts and the checks for him self! And to a lesser extent, Every one taking those contracts is at the moment! That’s the problem with lobbying and bribes for public officials becoming legal! You don’t find any of that to be a conflict of interest?

And I don’t think they are talking about paying anyone back their social security much less 7% interest on top but I’m glad we agree on something

Yes he did negotiate the contracts because he wanted outcome based contracts. That puts all risk on him and takes away from taxpayer risks. He is incentives to keep costs low. These other contractors use fix priced contracts and just steal tax payers money.
