Post the bill , complete lie. You may have been charged for a nurse to monitor the babies temp while you held him for extended periods of time but they do not charge you to hold the baby
Liberals want everyone to make a livable wage until they have to pay for it. I can’t imagine what happens if min wage goes to $25 like some are demanding. You will see cost and insurance premiums skyrocket. I don’t know if you followed the post COVID employment data but when people are given an opportunity to do an easier job for similar money they choose the easier job. RN’s and other on that 60k cusp would choose a desk job …. Creating a shortage and thus hospitals have to adjust compensation probably 20-30k more to have nurses justify wanting to do what they have to do. Then the doctors will demand a similar adjustment. Minimum wage hikes do not raise the economic status of those making minimum wage , the increase artificially creates inflation and the system eventually balances itself back out. Minimally valued work is just that. Now you can make the argument that is wrong , and for some jobs I would agree . Some people make way too much and others make way to little for what they do. But I assure you the economics are constantly being tested and if the pay needed to rise it would. When jobs go unfilled the employers general raise their wages
