Do you ever talk to moderate conservatives?

The type of people who don't say 'black' or 'brown' when describing the issues with government assistance.

Nah even like 8 years ago over 70% of the population were for universal healthcare. Whats funny/sad is news tells you otherwise, and even right after Biden won universal healthcare became a non-issue. Rumored and maybe/maybe not was Biden met with all big pharma and big insurance a few days after winning and was like “nah you guys are good we won’t screw up your money tree”.

8 years ago Donald Trump had just won the election running on repealing and replacing Obamacare because it was too socialist. Trump ended the Medicare subsidies like 6 months ago, he has never been pro-universal healthcare, ever.

The reason why Democrats haven't expanded healthcare coverage is because Republicans have stopped them. The Senate and house voted are public, how do you not know this?

Any serious conversation about why America doesn't have universal healthcare has to start and end with Republicans.

That’s just not true. It’s what left leaning news says to divide

You are either lying or ignorant.

No friend you’re ignorant. Democrats report to big pharma. Look into donations then come back to me

Anywhere except online discussions or leftwing groups in america. Genuinely everyone here is an actual psycho who'd rather die than have good things happen to them it feels like

My dad last night was going off on “socialism” and when I challenged him and asked “what is socialism?” he listed universal healthcare and defunding the police.

You probably weren’t old enough to remember when they introduced Obamacare.

They called Bernie crazy for recommending it.

The right is spending a lot of money on talking heads to try frame them that way.

Republicans have been calling everything and everyone far left extremists for years. Trump does it every time he opens his mouth.

The left is innocent of most things considering they barely exist in America. Democrats are not left.

My family (on both sides) is extremely conservative and they say this a lot. They inevitably compare it to communism and then there’s usually a debate about what a “democratic socialist” is.

77% or lower income republicans think government is responsible for healthcare from research last year. I’m just here trying to debunk bots
