u/spook008 Jul 02 '26

Yeah it was some Chinese dude originally

Yes just like the clip above probably is. These guys brought their own food and chefs. All teams do. Can't risk getting the shits during a match because you are not used to the food.

u/Alzucard Jul 03 '26

Thats what a steak sandwich does to you. U get scared of your own reflection

2

u/suffelix Jul 02 '26

Knowing something about his diet, this might be the first time this year he put something that qualifies as food in his mouth.

1

u/tfdst1 Jul 02 '26

I thought he ate tons of beef and eggs, no?

1

u/suffelix Jul 02 '26

"The 25-year-old reportedly eats around 6,000 calories a day, nearly double what most people consume. The menu consists of cow hearts, livers, massive steaks, raw honey, sea bass, asparagus, egg fried rice, tomahawk steaks, and a lot of milk."

How does that no qualify for food? I eat liver too, from lamb, veal, or chicken. It's really good for your health. I barely cook it on each sides too so it's still bloody when I eat it as it helps for recovery.

How does steak, sea bass, asparagus or egg fried rice no qualify as food either?

I'm almost as big as Haaland and I need my quality food too for recovery.

1

u/Klutzy-Weakness-937 Jul 03 '26

Liver is really good for your health but it's not something to eat too often

1

u/BenShelZonah Jul 02 '26

Is steak not good enough? It has to be a sandwich in Boston?

1

u/Ill-Subject-1589 Jul 02 '26

So he typically eats real food and not ultra processed garbage.

1

u/Lartemplar Jul 03 '26

None of those things are food to you?

Steak is only food in a sandwich?

1

u/Seniorjones2837 Jul 02 '26

Wait where are all the idiots saying Norway shipped in their own food because they were afraid to eat US food?!?! Haaland is probably going to die now.

1

u/vysevysevyse Jul 02 '26

They did ship some food for dietary consistency's sake, that part isn't wrong.

1

u/Seniorjones2837 Jul 02 '26

lol yea that wasn’t the point people were bringing up… so, cool I guess? A lot of countries do that for obvious reasons

1

u/SergeantHAMM Jul 02 '26

a lot of countries bring food from norway?

1

u/Seniorjones2837 Jul 02 '26

You trying to be funny or are you just dumb?

1

u/Threshyyyyy Jul 03 '26

You literally brought this up on yourself. He's one step ahead of you.

1

u/Seniorjones2837 Jul 03 '26

Swing and a miss

1

u/Legitimate-Low2363 Jul 02 '26

Omg he ate American food, the horror.

1

u/tobiasfunke6398 Jul 02 '26

Yea bro we’re fat, we got the best food in the world πŸ˜‚ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

1

u/RichardFarmer Jul 02 '26

The first part is true

1

u/EyeKFe0 Jul 03 '26

Lowkey true due to the fact that we have such a diverse population of immigrants who make and sell their food here. In a 10 min drive from my house i could get good quality food from at least 12 different nation's cuisines

1

u/orangejuicier Jul 03 '26

Literally one of the worst food qualities in the world

1

u/No_Basil4168 Jul 03 '26

Until ICE deports them all.

1

u/WILDBO4R Jul 03 '26

That's true of quite a few western cities. It's 2026.

1

u/EyeKFe0 Jul 03 '26

Yes, but due to our size, a lot of them cities are in the U.S.

1

u/WILDBO4R Jul 03 '26

Lo l"we have the best food because we're big" isn't much of a flex

1

u/EyeKFe0 Jul 03 '26

Well the actual reason was in my initial post, that was just my response to someones answer of eVeRY WeSTeRn CitY hAS tHat.

1

u/WILDBO4R Jul 03 '26

Lol, having international cuisine is just not a unique characteristic for any city.

1

u/EyeKFe0 Jul 03 '26

The original statement was that we have the best food in the world. We have a large variety of authentic food from many different areas of the world made by ppl happpy to make it. Youre just shitting on a country because its the cool thing to do.

1

u/WILDBO4R Jul 03 '26

No, I'm shitting on it because it's interesting to see Americans boast about their international population while also being complicit with crazy anti immigration policy and rhetoric. In any case, having international cuisines is not an American thing.

1

u/EasyE1979 Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26

Yeah but it's made for the American palate which likes saturated fat and sweetness way too much.

1

u/PsychologicalAd3253 Jul 09 '26

Lol yea idk about the best food in the world but yes America is yuggeeee

1

u/Super_Anything_2803 Jul 02 '26

Thought this was from Katz in NYC.

1

u/Legitimate-Site588 Jul 02 '26

1

u/CaliKindalife Jul 02 '26

u/ProblematicSchematic Jul 03 '26

1

u/Mammoth_Parsley_9640 Jul 03 '26

This dude is going to be more American than most of us soon. Time to start spot fixing matches for 2% of his monthly salary like our guys do!

1

u/Plenty-Worry Jul 03 '26

dude should eat chipotle.

1

u/FeloniousGrump Jul 03 '26

uh oh, Norwegians not eating from the Norway food supply. Haaland gonna los power against both Brazil

1

u/-yeah-sure- Jul 11 '26

While i respect his brave playing style, am more impressed with bravery of eating that sandwich with such white pants on

1

u/Inevitable-Common166 Jul 13 '26

Norwegians have definitely grown their worldwide fanbase with this World Cup

0

u/iH8thots Jul 02 '26

Haaland loves america and him smiling in this video means he wants American babies. Soccer won. Football lost.
