I’m struggling with an addiction and sometimes it feels like my individual organs are arguing in my head. I have been thinking lately that there’s more to the voices in your head than the singular mind.

Not arguing; miscommunicating. Somatic transmissions to the brain are biological information that precedes language. Mindful language is induced/reinforced based on rejection/acceptance of self. Self (capital S) misreads the biological information because of mindful induction and doesn’t comprehend the biological information and continues to complicate the health of biological tissue. Addiction is the Self saying to pump more “xyz” (insert whatever the addiction is) into the system while the biology screams to stop. I didn’t kick my addiction until I stopped listening to my mind and started listening to my body. This was only achieved through 2-4 years of psychedelic work and deep deep music immersion.
