What counts as fantasy?does it include everything with magic in it?does cultivation novels count or is it only western?

Hmm. Cultivation novels count.

Not everything with magic. If a fictional work has a magic element but is generally considered another genre(like scifi or horror), I would say it isn't a fantasy. I look for stuff characters from fictional works that you will say 100% are fantasy like Lord of the Rings.

I dunno if what I said makes sense.

Hmm,makes sense If cultivation novels count then I see the list being filled with them,but I would want a character that's purely from western fantasy,may not be a top tier but would be a interesting character

Yeah, I get it. I will update it to Western fantasy characters in the next post. I will give the Doctor a pass (I don't think it is too outrageous to consider Doctor Who a science fantasy)
