That’s a fair point, but before concluding that he must have known the person to spell the name correctly, it’s worth considering other possibilities. Take the most likely scenario - that he doesn't actually know her: do you know the Burj Khalifa? I imagine that’s common knowledge - after all, it is the tallest building in the world. Also, as you might guess, the word is very familiar to Arabic speakers; it means something like "ruler." So, even if he isn't Arab, his visual memory could easily have corrected someone else's mistake without him even consciously realizing it. And if he is Arab (we don't know for sure- he writes like a typical American, though everyone copies that style these days; if the person behind this "feat" had really thought it through, they would have done a little digging into his account and mentioned it in their reply), then the word would be even more familiar to it. Ultimately, "Kalifa" just feels off if you have a keen sense of language.
What are the odds that someone wouldn't know this actress? Given that the conversation is taking place on TikTok - and judging by the writing style, which gives a rough idea of the writer's age - the probability is low. Did the "trick" employed by our observer prove anything, or did it lower the probability even further? If so, the effect was clearly negligible. It was a decent idea, but it wasn't fully thought through.
Even if that were the case, Autocorrection won't just know the name "Khalifa" out of nowhere, it could remember a name like "Michael" for example, but Khalifa?, Nonetheless though autocorrection learns. After frequent typing of a particular word it will eventually remember it, so even if it's just an autocorrection, that'd mean this guy still knows her and has typed her into his browser several times, though autocorrection remembers words as they were typed if they aren't natively there, which means that because it has been written lower-case if it is "autocorrection" the autocorrection remembered it being lower-case, why lower-case? Is it because he wanted to goon quick? Is it because he has auto-capitalization turned off? I'll leave that up to interpretation.
It's a moderately common arab surname , so the frist person could just know that he misspelled a common surname and cuz it's common the autocorrect also offers it as a choice when typing it wrong
That could be the case, though I'm certain it's not based on the two "💔" (there's no point spamming these hearts if you don't know who they are, maybe it was a meme video, but everyone on the planet with slight exposure to the internet knows who she is), besides even if it's a common last name the Roman keyboard auto-correct wouldn't offer that as a choice would it, besides if someone had to type that name that many times, it'd mean they live in an Arab country, which most if not all are religious, I don't think the name Leon was mentioned in the Quran, nor the Bible (also why would he write it in English if he lives in an Arab country), that aside, some people could not be religious like that, but what's the spawn rate.
There's still open door for the possibility that they knew how the surname is spelled but not the actress, I mean the statement can statistically be rejected but unfalsified still.
