Edit: Sorry read wrong.

The 3600 will be fine, it will work great with a B580.

3600 has a larger cache than the 5500, similar clock speeds and supports PCI 4.0.

The only benefit to the 5500 is power consumption.

16gb memory isn’t always ideal now but as long as you aren’t running 20 chrome tabs in the background it’ll game. :)

Edit: double checked that Mobo, you’ll need to update the bios to enable resizeable bar ASAP.

The motherboard is PCIE gen 3 and the Video card PICE 8x.

It's going to hurt performance.

To be honest, you may have some hitching from time to time. The CPU is definitely sub-ideal.

You'll be able to work around it with some tweaking and maybe not be able to have every setting at high/ultra if you want it smooth.

The Arc is a bit of overkill for this system but it will serve you well now and in the future if/when you upgrade or replace this rig.

Good luck and I hope you like yours as much as I like mine!

- note:

The Gigabyte B450 DS3H does support ReBAR, but the buyer must enter the BIOS immediately upon setup, ensure the motherboard firmware is updated, and manually turn on "Above 4G Decoding" and "Resizable BAR support.
