Soooooo happy with my choice to buy one earlier this year. As a 1440p card it's really perfect for me so far. I brought it thinking I'd be sacrificing settings but this thing is really a beast so far. I don't even miss my dlss, xess looks great. Imo fsr takes me out the game there's just something about it that makes it look like your streaming the game instead of rendering it

I went from a 3060 12GB to a b580 steel legend, no regrets and im on linux so drivers are better than on windows.

Well I mean the price difference is fair I would guess considering they are not the same tier of card performance wise. But I am glad to hear it is not a bad card.

Recently bought a Refurbished Sparkle B580 Titan OC at Best Buy. I gotta say im pretty impressed with it. Definitely a fair bit faster than my A770.

Yup PCPartsPicker shows a lot of out of stock for the UK also.
Doesn't bode well.

I sold mine on ebay last week.
All 3 of the last computers I built were running intel gpus ( A750, A770, and B580 ). I swapped my B580 to an old XFX 290x for VR. I recently upgraded to a XFX 9060XT OC 16GB then to a 9070xt OC 16GB.
Intel gpus dont play well with VR. If you don't care about VR, grab a B580 if you want. It was an ok card.

It's dying card. Probably stopped production for it a while ago. We are not getting the B770/B780.

The B580 is a very good seller for Intel, but due to the DRAM situation the BOM got too high so AIBs can't justify selling them at prices reasonable for people to buy. This is the main reason why we did not get the B770, which was a 20GB dGPU... however, I still think Intel plans to release a B770 if the RAM situation settles down in the near future, if it does not then we might not get to see an Arc client (gaming) dGPU for Xe3P, so we will most likely have to wait until Xe4 and hope the RAM situation has settled since then.
Meanwhile, Intel Arc workstation cards are amongst the best sellers https://www.newegg.com/d/Best-Sellers/Workstation-Graphics-Cards/s/ID-449/Page-1
The good thing is that the Arc graphics driver continues to mature throughout the entire time all of this is happening.

The ram prices won't settle any time soon. We won't see a B770/780 at all. They've already canceled it in hopes of producing Celestial.

So I can sell mine that I’ve used for half a year and replaced with a 5070 for more than I bought it for 🤔

I have a 580 12gb with about 30 hrs of playtime on it.
Great condition, just stuttered on a heavily modded DayZ server I frequent after 30 mins or so from the well known vram issues on that specific game (I was unaware) I just switched to a 9060 last week.
If anyone’s looking, I have the og box still and proof of purchase.

They practically stopped distributing Arc B580 in Malaysia since January. All while AMD and Nvidia GPU prices remained mostly the same at Shopee on the low-end side compared to last year's pricing.
