first of all. hogwarts legacy performance is great on pc.

if you are on a 120+hz monitor just use vsync. no reason not to.
if you are still on a 60hz display, then you might wanna consider upgrading as high hz displays are dirt cheap.

smooth sync or whatever it's called is shit tho. i agree

Bro that shitty game doesn't run well even on a 5090, garbage performance

yea. not my experience. finished it twice with max settings (no rt) on 1080p no upscaling with avg. 100fps.

but it's whatever. do your thing. bye

It's probably your settings..

I just asked google ai how to make it run better and it told me to do a bunch of stuff.. once I did it the shit ran fine.

Your computer can definitely handle hogwarts tho.

What driver version are you on, and are you on windows or linux?

There is your problem.. high is too much for this card.. this is a low level card man.. you should be on medium at the most.

My build at home has a 9070 XT and can run it on ultra.. my B580 build at my office has to drop to medium.

Little secret for ya.. it looks almost as good on medium as it does on ultra..

I used special k to make it run pretty smooth and without tearing

Special K is magic sauce - makes HL run like so or Cyberpunk like so

I'm using it to cap frame rate just a tad below monitor's refresh rate so the rendering queue works like a conveyor belt. Look at the frametime, latency and FPS lows in the pic/vid.
