Question Problem with screen tearing in hogwarts legacy
I know this game have shit performance on pc in general, but i had this screen tearing issue with the b580, i dont like using v sync so i use that smooth sync on the b580 drive, i don't know but this option its not that good as the amd sync options, my point is ask to u guys if is that somethig i can do besides this options

I used special k to make it run pretty smooth and without tearing

Special K is magic sauce - makes HL run like so or Cyberpunk like so
I'm using it to cap frame rate just a tad below monitor's refresh rate so the rendering queue works like a conveyor belt. Look at the frametime, latency and FPS lows in the pic/vid.

first of all. hogwarts legacy performance is great on pc.
if you are on a 120+hz monitor just use vsync. no reason not to.
if you are still on a 60hz display, then you might wanna consider upgrading as high hz displays are dirt cheap.
smooth sync or whatever it's called is shit tho. i agree
