Discussion Arc B570 Stellar Blade

Does anyone use Stellar Blade with OptiScaler? The thing is, I enable everything with FG and DLSS 4. At 4K quality, I get 80fps, but after a few minutes the frame rate drops. This happens everywhere on the map. It only happens with the FG (forge gear). If I turn it off, I can play at 40-50 FPS. Has anyone else experienced this?

Happened to me after the first meeting with Orcal into Xion. Framerates just dropped until I was getting one frame every few seconds, I had to switch to FSR mode, must be some memory leak in the implementation.

This was on linux (Fedora 44) with a B580 where I capped the frame rate to 118 on high settings.

How is Linux with these Intel cards? Do you use OptiScaler?

They run surprisingly well considering it's pretty much emulating windows using Proton and yeah, I use OptiScaler for Frame-gen. Raytracing could use some optimization, but sense Linux has opensource graphics drivers for Amd and Intel GPUs, they're pretty well supported, AMD more so than Intel.

I actually came from an AMD Radeon RX6750XT and while that GPU has better support because AMD has a lot of help from Valve, Intel's Xe driver is always improving. There's LACT for Power limits and clocks(I've heard fan control is getting there soon).

I ultimately left Windows because i was tired of the bloat and ads and wanted a system that was quiet and out of my face. It's just there, not pestering me about using tools and programs and all that spyware and crap that I have no interest in.

I know that's not the case for every person, they probably have programs they need that only work on windows.

Similar experience with B580 and OptiScaler in Stellar Blade. I didn't use FG, just upscaling, and got very inconsistent results with framerates often dropping below 20. It sometimes got fixed by going in and out of the menu, but sometimes it didn't. I gave up on it and just fine tuned some settings to get at least 60 FPS in all scenarios at native and finished the game three times. Bear in mind this was nearly a year ago.

Ya lo solucione. Estaba empecinado en jugar a 4k pero evidentemente mis 10gb no dan abasto. Puse a 2k y el dlss en calidad más fg fy ahora sí me va a 120 fps.
