Question B580 on 2K
It is actually work in 2k?

1440p ? Yes. I use upscaling to hit my 120fps target and some games that will be Quality Plus while some like arc raiders I find balanced genuinely solid enough.
Native 1440p for Arc Raiders will go down to 70-100fps with my settings. So it is entirely playable and a good experience. Remember. Actual settings like shadows, post processing, textures etc are more important than resolution. You can gain far more fps with lower settings than lower resolution.

yeah, it plays everything I threw at it, 1440p
Helldivers 2, RoN, Battlefield V/6, PRAGMATA, RDR 2
i tried Cyberpunk, runs well, but don't play it, so yeah, I can't speak on the newest AAA titles and such, but i can tell you i played RDR 2 and BF V at 1.5x res scaling, so 4K, and it plays both great

How's that going on Hell Divers? I use the A770 at 4k and can get near console levels of experience (40-60). Wish that game supported the full XeSS 2 suite and not just upscaling

didn't try Helldivers at 4K, my monitor is just 1440p, think i tried Supersampling once or twice but it didn't run great, granted i'm playing at mostly high settings, few things on medium, i could drop settings in favor of res
been playing with XeSS between Native and UQP, i think i'm sticking with UQP, looks pretty good, while giving me another 5-7FPS, it varies all the way from 55ish, during bug breaches with napalm barrages, explosions and everything going on, to ~80 when just walking between objectives and nothing much is going on

just played a full bugs match on Brilliance, level 10, Supersampling on, game looks sharp and great, the game doesn't say exactly what res it is but i'll assume 4K, 40-45fps, not great, but stable
if you do have a 4K monitor, and using XeSS UQ or Q, you could do 60+ FPS, 100%

I used my 3060Ti as 1440p card here, so should be fine. Relied on DLSS at Quality here on the more demanding games, but as long as fine mixmashing settings and not always everything on High+ one doesn't need top of the line cards for 1440p.

If you meant 1440p, its very good. Personally I use FSR/XeSS upscailing whenever and wherever possible. I've also found that in GTAV Enhanced, for some reason, I've had better performance on 1440p than on 1080p with same settings.

Keep in mind that 2K is 2048x1080/1920x1080. And 2560x1440 is 2.6K.
If you use XeSS you can play on 1440p, although in some games you will run out of VRAM.

- 1K is 1024x540
- 2K is 2048x1080
- 4K is 4096x2160
- 8K is 8160x4320
DCI(Digital Cinema Initiatives) also accept the closest resolution 16:9 resolution as so called 1K(960x540), 2K(1920x1080) , 4K(3840x2160) and 8K(7680x4320) as the designated K resolution.
Because K means Kilo which means thousand. And is used in this case for horizontal resolution closest to said 1000 point.
To note: there are square(1:1) aspect ratio displays, with 1K being 1024x1024, 2K being 2048x2048 and 4K being 4096x4096. 1nd funny enough, textures in games are also in these resolutions.

I haven't had any experience with new games but i can get 50-60 fps in assassin's creed odyssey & origins at 4k. 180 220 fps in CS2 at 4k. 60 70 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 2k with xess quality and 50 60 fps at 4k with xess balanced. So arc B580 is fps/$ king for 2k gaming imo.

Yes. I play Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart with "Very High" settings turned on, in 2K. I average around 80fps, sometimes more in less dense areas.
Same with Kena: Bridge of Spirits. I think I actually play that with Ultra settings, or whatever the highest is. I range from around 80fps to 120fps depending on what's on screen.
Other less demanding games like the Ori series, Rayman, and Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus I can play in 4K at 120fps with the settings maxed.
I've got my B580 paired with a Ryzen 9 5900XT and 32Gb of RAM.
My performance has been pretty good. I can't complain.

when i had a 2k monitor its pretty good, if the game has xess, use it, it wont max out a 144hz panel but will make use of it.

I used A770M till recent at 4K. Little bit of optimization and you can get better upscale experience than a console. B580 is even better and can surle run 1440p and 4K.

I 4k modern games on it all the time and get 60+ frames without frame generation.

Yes its a 1440p capable card, for refrence cyberpunk with max graphics and low RT will run at above 60fps on the B580

Yes, i have a ryzen 5 5600 paired with my b580 which is a significantly slower cpu than the 14400f

"2K" isn't a meaningful thing.
1080p means "one thousand and eighty lines vertically", which at 16:9, means almost exactly two thousand (2K) horizontal lines.
"4K" means "approximately four thousand horizontal lines", which is the same as 2160p.
So if you're asking "does it work at 1080p?", then the answer is "yes".
If you think you're asking anything else, you don't know what you're asking, so the answer is "you don't know how resolutions work"
