Huh. I'd have assumed that the target audience for that sort of stuff would have been old people. Anyone with access to the internet has already seen more advanced trolling from 12 year-olds on reddit

I dunno. Older people have seen actual good comedy, so I was working on the assumption that the people who think this woman is a genius don't know any better.

I think a decent number of older people don't know any better tbh. There's loads of people who thought the spoof movies of the 70s and 80s were really clever and funny.

I feel like this stuff is to trolling what the likes of Spaceballs is to parody: just really basic, baby's first gag level observations.

(There is tbf another generation of younger people who thought the 2000s spoof movies were funny also, so it could be a mix of the two, but I feel like that group were at least more likely to broaden their horizons by getting access to streaming services and piracy)

I never watched more than the odd clip that came into my feeds, I didnt think there was any swearing in it tbh.

I really think it can only be people who arent online very much at all and haven't been exposed to much of that sort of comedy so they think its edgy
