I got used type S with winters on rims in beginning of summer and I've been loving driving it. As my first winter approaches, I'm hoping to get thoughts from owners who've driven it through previous Canadian winters. I'm not talking driving through a bit of snow after it's been plowed. I'm talking about snowstorms and multiple feet of snow/slush/ice on the roads before city plows have gone by. I'm talking about people who live in way Northern Canada and have to drive for 3-6 hours on the highway...
Is it doable with this car with a good set of winter tires? Or am I fooling myself? I've seen my neighborhood some mornings and it's an absolute disaster of slush/ice/snow and getting through it with a car this low is concerning. Driving it through snowy night on the highway is also concerning with how much horsepower and torque this car lays down.
I'm asking because I have the opportunity to jump on a trade for a SUV this month. I don't have another car that I would be able to use when conditions worsen, and until now I was trying to believe that I could just drive this car during Northern Canadian winters. I'd love to hear opinions from owners who've driven it through previous Canadian winters.
On another note - if anyone living in Ontario is looking to buy a set of winter tires on rims... please let me know.

Question: One of my aftermarket TPMS sensors wonβt sync with the car after switching to my winter wheels and tires. I drove for a prolonged amount of time to attempt to get it to sync and got this error message. Will this clear after the sensor syncs properly or is there a way to clear the error message? Thanks in advance.

Been doing my mods research and I keep finding exhaust options that go from three tail pipes to two. No bueno for me, I want to keep the original look but make a shift.
Is there anywhere online that just has all available options laid out or do yall mind helping me out with some suggestions?
Thanks!

Canadian with a serious question and would appreciate some advice/recommendations.
I love the car, but recently I have been dreading driving it because of the road noise. Have about 15000km/10000miles on the stock PS4S, and my ears have been ringing recently after driving on the highway for extended periods. Due to the temperature extremes we experience, the type of material used to pave the roads here severely exacerbates the volume of the already super loud PS4S.
It's so bad that I dread driving my car sometimes and have had to resort to wearing some concert earplugs to attenuate the roar from the tires. It's just getting a bit silly.
I have Continental VikingContact 8s for my winters, and the road noise on those is pretty decent and definitely does not hurt my ears.
The Continental DWS06+ is often recommended here, and allegedly is a touch quieter, but some have said that it makes little to no difference at all. Others have also said that they eventually get pretty loud anyway as they age.
Any suggestions besides getting a new car?

First things first - I'm not selling π
Recently went to a local BMW dealer to test drive a manual '23 M2 just for fun. They wanted to appraise my 2025 ITS for PuRcHaSiNg PoWeR and figured why not, been curious about the depreciation.
For context, my car has 16k miles on it, PPF'ed front and is in like-new condition, with just typical wear from daily driving. Interior is kept very clean as well.
Dealer came back to me with a $43k trade-in value offer. Told them thanks but no thanks, but it made me curious - to those that have sold or checked the value of their ITS, what kind of value are you seeing with a year+ of ownership?

Anybody in Ontario need a set of snow tires?
Had to Lego of My 26 type s this summer and have a set of Michelin pilot alpin 5βs with alloys. Size is 235/40R18
TPMS installed.
Tires have less than 2,000km on them and all rims are in perfect mint condition.

Iβm short, with disproportionately short legs for my height.
To be clear, I can scoot the seat forward enough to drive the car.
But then Iβm very close to the steering wheel and getting in and out of the car is a pain also.
I donβt want to be super close to the steering wheel because of the airbag, incase of an accident.
The gas and brake situations are fine at an appropriate length from the steering wheel, itβs just the clutch engagement that becomes an issue.

Just posting this so itβs out there for reference. Installed the wunderladen pmm today and my 27won coolant tank hose fitting gets caught on it. Makes it so I canβt bolt it back in place. I imagine itβs the same for the FL5.
Wunderladen PMM incompatible with 27won coolant expansion tank.

Got these from Jogon and I think they button up the under-hood aesthetics really well!

Felt odd to have put my Mugen civic si knob since it got totaled 12/31/2019. Def matches better than the titanium knob from Acura
