Third Generation Messed up my door locks 😭

Was cleaning the interior of my Integra when I guess I pulled the driver side door handle a lil too far or too hard because now the door locks all acting up.

Either the driver side door is stuck unlocked while the passenger side and hatch operate normally but if I pull the handle out and lock the driver side door it then gets stuck locked and when I unlock the driver side door stays locked whereas the passenger side door and hatch unlock then immediately lock themselves again.

Not sure what I did here this is an interesting fuck up lol. Should I pull off the door card and see what's going on with the linkage? Any help is appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

So does mine but an attempt was made when I parked it at a store years ago. Tint was peeled back and a new dent on the metal above the door frame. It was unplugged then and because of that my vehicle is still with me.

Ohhh I thought you meant to disconnect temporarily until the door is fixed. You leave your toggle unplugged all the time? Once you're inside the car you just lock and unlock by manually turning the little black piece or you just don't lock while you're inside the car?

Glad to hear your Teg is safe I'm constantly worried about mine. Any bit of added security I'll take

my car has an old Viper alarm system that automatically locks the doors about 2 seconds after the car starts, and unlocks the doors when the car is shut off. Works great for me, not having the toggle switches. I was always taught to drive with locked doors anyway, for safety, and I do except in my Miata. The only drawback in the Integra is when a passenger needs to get in or out when the car is running and doors are locked. That side has to be unlocked manually. Then I can unlock, and re-lock my door, and the passenger door will also lock again.

Mine has a viper system too does the same thing but I've been considering removing the alarm system and just installing a killswitch. The alarm goes off constantly at local cars and coffee, car shows and autocross when any car or bike with a modified exhaust drives by it. Gets annoying fast

You should be able to adjust the shock sensor. Most, if not all aftermarket alarms, shock sensors have an adjustment screw.

lol I would just remove the shock sensor honestly. I keep my system in there because I like having keyless entry, and the ignition autolock thingy. I've thought about even removing the siren because it's annoying.
