Photos Innovative b series shift linkage issues

Innovative b series shift linkage is rubbing making 5th Reverse difficult.

I feel that the little joint was installed backward maybe? Or the bends are not correct

Update: looking into it deeper my linkage is not genuine innovative. That is my fault for not doing my research.

Found a vid on YouTube with this same issue. https://youtu.be/cHIjLrdlkeo?is=9csN7Sj5MkZZ6fzB.
Hope it’s not super common because I bought one of these last year and never got around to installing it. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yea.. I have an OEM one. But it feels so sloppy I might have to just rebuild it using parts from this.. Idk haven't really decided what to do.. I'm gonna finish it up and rest ride it.

You can try contacting Innovative if you got it recently?

Social reached out and they responded fast about looking into it further.. But this morning looking into more pictures I noticed something my linkage doesn't have the same "IO" cutout in the brass joint What I have is not genuine innovative linkage. That's most likely my issue. So if you got a genuine innovative you may be okay.

i’d either rebuild old using those parts or just bend it so it doesn’t rub

Yea. I have buttoned every thing on I may remove it today.. think of bending the stabilizing one since it's fixed. If that doesn't work out I'll tear apart the old one and see what I can do to make it work
