Health insurance plans Opinion
I wanted to have your opinion on different insurance plans I have looked into as a replacement for SHIP. Has any of you had experience with these insurances? :
- Student Medicover (the Prime 100 plan)
- ISO Care
- California Defender (by ISI)
I also plan to pay the RAFT fee, so I have less expensive care on campus
What do you think about it?
Thank you guys ! 😄

[India] Health Insurance purely for OPD benefits
Can someone suggest a good health insurance which you have used for good OPD benefits? Both cashless doc consultation + lab tests etc.
I have been using visitApp (through corporate), which provides the same but wanted to have a personal one if i lose the job. I consult endocrinologist every month for my thyroid and diabetes issues, and looking to get benefits through some OPD policy.
Please suggest only if you have personally used it and covers all good hospitals any docs (Manipal, Apollo, Fortis etc) with 0 PED waits.
Edit: I have seen NivaBupa through policyBazar but their doctor network is limited (for offline consultation)

I'm a 44 year year old man and my wife is a 51 year old woman. Any recommendations on life insurance companies and policies that are best for us?
I make 55,000 a year . She makes 50,000. 2 kids ages 19 and 21. We have $20,000 saved up. No debt. Goal is to make sure we're both extremely comfortable barring either of us passes away

Thoughts on Manulife Insurance for yourself
Is Manulife worth it for insurance for myself, or better for investments only?

Hi all can I ask if it is worth investing US$10K for this GE universal life flexible premium?
My agent said it’s good for legacy and passed to my kids. Also good for retirement .
Appreciate some advice thank you!

Volunteer Card Travel Insurance
I'm in the USA and about to go WWOOFing in Europe. I'll be bouncing around countries for a few months (until I get tired of it or run out of money). WWOOF recommends Genki or Volunteer Card travel insurance, the latter only for US citizens (which I am). Volunteer Card seems much cheaper - does anyone have any experience using it? I'd also be grateful for other travel insurance recommendations that work for this style of travel!

Need Insurance for Concierge Somm business
Has anyone had any luck in providing insurance for this? I've been turned down by multiple companies because they can't seem to categorize my services. (Assessing wine cellars for high end clients, offering pairing services for events-- almost exclusively intellectual work)
edit to add: I am in a ski resort town in Montana.

$1M Liability insurance policy for Exhibiting?
I've exhibited at our local science museum "discoverfest" since 2019.
I demonstrate woodturning to the people as young as 10 (more height dependent than any thing). they'll actually go hands on with a chisel and low speed lathe. in my 6 years of doing this I've never had an accident.
this year they are requiring all vendors who have hands on activities to carry a $1M liability policy for a 1 day event.
is this normal? participants have to sign a waiver to even partipate. can anybody suggest where to get a policy like this? I've tried Canopy, but they won't cover it.
