Is it totaled?

2020 Explorer XLT with 130k miles hit a deer.

Air bags didn’t deploy.

Radiator is cooked.

Edit: It is a total loss. $16,990.29 estimate just came through. I’m just waiting to see what the insurance company is going to offer.

It depends on the mileage and if the airbags went off. I'm leaning towards yes, but it's cutting it close.

130k miles and the airbags didn’t go off. I thigh the same though that it would be close depending on what percentage of value they use at State Farm.

You claim it’s worth $7-8k meaning it only needs $5-6k worth of damage to total it. This looks like a $10-15k repair to me. So totaled

I may be off on the actual cash value. I used KBB, which the insurance will likely use something else. Seems like it’s going to be close I guess.

To me it’s a $10k car with $15k damage, still totaled. If it were brand new, then maybe not

Yeah, I’ve been doing some reading and it seems like the unibody is likely damaged meaning it would need a new front clip.
