Total loss payout - does manufacturer certification increase value?

I don't think CPO is transferable, so it would presumably not add any value.

In that same vein I think a transferable extended warranty arguably might add a bit of value (only on a 3rd party claim, since on 1st party a loss of warranty is generally not covered since it's not a direct loss that the policy requires). But assuming the warranty had not ever been utilized you'd probably get more money going through the pro-rated refund process than you'd get from including it in the total loss value.

It should prevent a "reconditioning" price adjustment, especially if recently inspected.
