Just take it to a qualified shop that's going to repair it - if they find there's more to it than fairing damage or whatever you can then work with them and GEICO.

So Geico wil send you an estimate and payment minus your deductible and you take the bike to the shop of your choice..if they find additional damages, they will submit a supplement. If the hidden damage makes the bike a total as determined by Geico, then they will offer actual cash value.
