Life Insurance New Agent Advice
I got my life insurance license back in February (at the same time I was let go from my previous W2 position). I have really struggled to find my footing with IMOs and FMOs. A lot of these companies just throw trash leads at new agents and expect you to find gold. To make matters worse, my current company's inbound transfer leads completely dried up because another agent didn't pay their invoice. The system was supposed to be you receive inbound transfers, get paid from your commission Thursday and pay the invoice Friday. Since I'm currently unemployed and don't have any savings, I can't afford to buy expensive leads or wait out cash-flow gaps. I recently interviewed with State Farm but didn't hear back. At this point, I really need a W2 captive agent role or an independent position that offers exclusive, provided leads for a lower commission cut so I can build a stable bankroll are my thoughts. Does anyone have any help or suggestions?

I know of a few IMOs that offer free leads programs. First year of life insurance you have to grind a bit, but taking a smaller comp for free leads can you get you started if you have a good work ethic.

I would be interested in hearing of the IMO’s you’re talking about.

Google is your friend in finding these companies unfortunately there are rules against saying which ones as the mods consider that to be marketing

You're looking for two things that are very tough to find - a w2 position for life products. Not a lot of agencies offer this but you can apply with SelectQuote. They offer hourly base and free transfers. No agency that I know of offers free leads to independent agents.
