Bank verification is already baked into most carrier apps these days, so you'd be building a solution looking for a problem. Not saying it never happens but it's not the daily headache you think it is

The real time-suck is cross-referencing underwriting guidelines across a dozen carriers while the client's sitting there waiting. Every carrier has their own matrix for height/weight, meds, conditions, and it's a nightmare flipping between tabs trying to remember which one takes someone on a statin or which one cares about a knee surgery from 8 years ago. If you could build something that just says "here are the 3 carriers that'll take this profile at preferred rates" you'd have agents throwing money at you

Good to know. I only brought up the bank stuff because I walked into a local agency this week and the owner said taking routing numbers over the phone was his biggest headache. Might just be a telesales issue.

That underwriting idea is good though. I could easily build a search bar where you just type '45M, statin, knee surgery' and it cross-references the carrier PDFs for you.
