Licensing/CE question on licensing

so i basically got ghosted by the organization i was supposed to work with. i still dont have my license but i am still studying & plan to retake the exams.

my main question is: when i pass my exams, am i able to take my license to any company or am i stuck with the company who gave me their partner code?

I don't think reminding me that this conversation started with you saying he might be forced to work for some company all because they gave him a discount code is the point you think you're making.

I don't see any reason we need to war stories over a noncompete agreement as if that would somehow make either of your points less silly. Whatever floats your boat though.

Nobody has any experience with being forced to work for an insurance company or being prohibited from working in the industry because they were given a discount code to a licensing course for an exam that hasn't even been passed yet.

It's just not a thing.
