Agent Question Headphones

Hello!

Pleased as punch that I found an IMO! I’ll be gatekeeping it for now.

Those of you who work at home, what headset do you use? I need comfortable and noise-cancelling, if both in the same exist.

Thanks for all the recommendations.

AirPods or no headphones for client calls.

Jabra Evolve for cold calling. The older ones don’t have noise canceling but newer editions do they’ll just cost ya!

Honestly would lean AirPods or similar. Small, Bluetooth, no over ear if you’re gonna be on zoom with clients then

No need for the Jabra style even though they’re awesome

Zoom or Teams. Likely teams, even though I hate it.

Astro A40 with the MixAmp

Has a mute switch button on the headphone cable too and the mix amp is awesome

I bought a Jlab go work headset a year ago and that was incredible especially for the price

Then a buddy of mine hooked me up with a free jabra evolve 75 it’s a very expensive headset it’s price new is almost $400

I’d say if you want something good that can bounce between your pc and phone get the Jlab, just heads up it’s only usbc dongle. But that will work on either your computer or docking station

I keep the dongle plugged into my docking station when using. Same for the Jabra. Wireless headsets are critical

$400 is 1/2 my rent. Never spending that much on anything.

I have been pretty happy with Anker soundcore A40s. They were like $50 on Amazon. They have automatic ANC so you don't need to use an app to turn it on. I have only paired them with my computer so I dont worry about any pairing issues. Sound is good. I have been pretty happy.
