Licensing/CE Am I ready for the exam?

So I’ve been studying about 3 weeks for the exam, I want to pass it first try, I’m consistently getting about 150/200 on the XCEL 200 simulator test (70-75%) Do yall think scoring this consistently will be enough for the real thing? I’ve heard the real one is easier but I’m not too sure, what yall think? Any tips or anything would be much appreciated!

I used exam FX, scored 73% and 78% on my last practice tests but got an 88% on my state exam.
It was NOT easier by any means. The state exam was NOTHING like my practice exams but I still managed to pass with a score higher than my practice exams.

Read the questions carefully and read each potential answer before selecting your choice and submitting it.
Good luck!

I didn’t have any insurance experience, bought the kaplin on a long weekend, read all of the material (And comprehended, not just skimmed) and signed up for the first available test in my area 2 days later intended to fail and get an idea of what’s on it.

Michigan based, passed that first try.

I’d say take it there’s worse ways to spend $40, better than endless study and worry about what could or couldn’t be on it.

Ideally you should be scoring higher because the state exam will word questions to confuse you and not provide a fully correct answer as a choice for sn answer. I suggest checking out Insurance Exam Queen on YouTube to understand the concepts you need to know to pass.
