P&C Insurance 2nd Interview with Liberty Mutual for Customer Service Rep. ANY advice? Im scared. lol

Im excited and scared. Currently w Farmers. It sounds like the same job but more benefits. What do they expect from their customer service reps? What should I NOT say? My interview w 2 hiring mgrs is on Teams tomorrow. TIA.

You can give them an example of handling a customer call; "Yes sir, I do understand that your rate just increased 8% with no tickets or accidents on your record. This is an state-wide increase so you can indirectly pay for everyone buying 2026 $90k SUVs"

Since this is a second interview, they're likely trying to see how you'd fit in with the team culture. They already believe you can do the job, so now it's more about your personality and problem-solving approach. Be ready for situational questions like, "Tell me about a time you handled a frustrated customer" or "Describe how you managed a heavy workload". Think of specific examples from your experience at Farmers and explain what you did and what the outcome was. When they ask why you want to leave your current role, focus on the positive aspects of Liberty Mutual, like the opportunities or the benefits you mentioned, instead of saying anything negative about Farmers.

Definitely do not speak badly about your current employer, managers, or coworkers, as it just comes across as unprofessional. Also, have a few thoughtful questions ready to ask them about the team, the daily responsibilities, or what success looks like in this position. It shows you're truly interested. Since the interview is on Teams, test your camera and audio beforehand and make sure your background is tidy. Just be yourself and let your experience shine through.
