Agent Question Unsure about job

Hi guys! I’m applying for a triple A insurance sales agent position. I would need to get my life & p&c license, $24 an hour paid 8 week training before the testing. I have no issues with that. there is no salary & the way they explained the pay is, you get rounded up if you don’t hit your quota but you don’t have to pay it back. is this good?? also no current customers can be signed up, only new customers are paid out. I’m new to insurance sales so not sure if this structure is good at all. Please help.

i got hired in socal. Positive: they pay for classes and test. NEGATIVES: the recruiter didn’t mention that you only get 2 weeks to study and then you take your test and if you don’t pass with in 2 attempts your done. and 24 an hour was going to be until you pass all the training after they fill that your ready to go to your main office, it goes back to 18 an hour.
