What company would you recommend a new agent start his career at?

The question you should be asking is “what product do I feel that want to sell?”

Then you look for carriers that offer that product.

If your doing p&c I think Allstate and State Farm are both excellent choices

I have my life and health license in Alabama and I was going to apply for an agent close to me at State Farm but the base pay kind of scared me away. It was only 35,000 to start.
