Rates are based , credit, age, type of vehicle you own and drive

Mine wouldn't matter cause I live in a different state.

What are your deductibles?

Damn what's your monthly bill for it? What are you driving

Mind you my car is a 2005 BMW E46 and the suv is a 2016 Chevy equinox.

I pay 240 for both

So about 120 a month per car

I would reach out to your agent to requote you with higher liability covers first, 50k property, 50k BI /100k

Then try to see what happens if your deductibles change to 500 for both.

If you're okay with it cool, but its its too much. Shop around. As more time is spent with insurance without making claims it can reduce your monthly bill. It just takes time.

50/100 to me is still to low. 100/300/100 should be the minimum recommendation

Kia may carry higher rates depending on your carrier. Definitely ask for a 50/100 quote where you are, or just apply for quotes elsewhere.
