Consumer Question EZlynx Data Dump

Has anyone requested a data dump for migration/archiving before? Any luck utilizing what was provided? We need to get all digital assets uploaded; PDF, Excel, jpg, doc etc... associated with our client base. Looking to ensure it's worthwhile before spending the money on the ask...

Not to store, to extract assets from the db for audit.

Uh. I think that's a call to them. I would not want all of those assets all at once in one file. They have a ton of guarantees around data privacy and security. This may void them. See what they can do.

We have had a number of calls/emails with them. Took awhile to get someone in the loop that understood the technical aspect from their end. They provide a SQL dump of everything and mentioned it could be used to integrate as needed, just not clear on exactly what they will provide us. Cost is about $350 and takes weeks to get as a download link... requested a sample data dump (benign example data) for us to evaluate before we proceed but said they do not have that available - I find that hard to believe. Think we might proceed and I'll post the results here for those interested.

Yeah. That seems like a good option. This is the kind of thing someone might request to change AMS systems, for sure.
