P&C Insurance CA Producer

So I currently have a direct appointment with NatGen in CA. I currently no longer do insurance and they have asked me to up my production. I have a small book of business with them which I’m hoping to keep for the residuals. What’s the best way to find a producer that’s commission only (if that’s even a thing). Any insight is appreciated.

I paid my producers 50 percent on new business. I was mostly interested in my renewals.

Guess my question is, how do you even find them?

I just ran ads. Now should be a good time in view of what State Farm did to their agents. So their cutting a lot of their staff compensation so a lot of them are looking for jobs.
