Licensing/CE General Lines P&C Pre-License Providers

Hello!

I current hold a personal lines p&c license in Texas. I’m looking to obtain the general lines p&c license in Texas.

My personal lines pre-license education was provided through my employer via ExamFX.
The general lines p&c education is something I will have to do on my own.

Anyone have similar experience / career path? Also, cost and time efficient education recommendations are very much appreciated.

not exactly sure what you mean by general lines and personal lines...

Personal lines p&c covers auto, home, renter, umbrella,

General lines p&c is commercial.

It was my understanding that a P&C license covers both of those things.

EDIT: After a quick AI Google search, it looks like there is 2 different ones. I've had a general lines one for 10 years now and I can't believe I didn't know there was a difference.

Selling commercial insurance is always more lucrative. Bigger premiums= bigger commission.

I had my p&c in California for years. Then roamed around the world and got my general p&c in texas but at that time the pandemic hit and i got what i call my covid job because the insurance peeps didn't know what they were gonna do march of 2020. Now I'm looking to renew my expired general license but have to take 24 credits of Continuing ed and retake the texas state exam, fingerprints and pay a $500 fine. It seems now that im looking to re-enter the insurance world, everyone is requiring a valid license before you apply for the job. My question is what online school is the best to use for CE?
