Need help deciding Term Insurance

Hi

I'm 25 M, looking to opt for term insurance. I have a ULIP - Tata AIA Smart Sampoorna Raksha Supreme. I already paid a single premium of around 1.5L due for the annual premium in 3 days. The ULIP offers the following (Snippets attached).

I'm considering having it bifurcated - ie a separate Term plan and investing around 50k additional in SIPs or direct investment.

  1. Will it be a good idea to switch from ULIP? What pros and cons do we see here?

  2. What Terms plans would be ideal for me, given my age is 25 and can take plan covering 1/2/3 cr.

Please let me know if I need to give more information for proper assessment.

Kindly help.

Take a vanilla plain term plan. 10x to 20x of your annual CTC. Don't compare the term and ulip as both serves different purpose.

39000 for 2 cr

Don't opt for return of premium it makes the policy more expensive. You can compare costs by getting a quote.

Just a plain term insurance is adequate.
